Despite his flaming red hair, Jinyoung is an introvert who keeps to himself and doesn't tend to approach people first. He's normally seen playing his guitar at random places, usually in the Amphitheater or Firework's Beach, and perhaps even outside of his cabin. Don't feel offended if he ignores you while playing his guitar; he gets lost in his own world of music. However, don't take advantage of his soft and quiet personality. He's only patient to an extent, vigorously training his archery skills in times of need. You may notice him wear the same golden bracelet with a bow charm everyday on his left wrist; he treasures it like how he treasures his guitar. It was a gift from his father when he first stepped foot in the camp. And, with a silent command, the bracelet magically turns into a burgundy bow made out of Ebony. Once you get pass the boundaries of being a stranger and acquaintances, you will have the pleasure of seeing a really caring side of Jinyoung who would do anything and everything for the people he cares about. He has an extremely soft side towards his siblings and his special someone whom he would always put first instead of himself. Jinyoung was sent to an orphanage when he was younger, who grew up knowing nothing about his parents. He was still in high school, living his life independently as the archery teams captain, when he received the letter about his father, the Greek god of the Sun, Apollo. He was baffled and thought that someone was messing with him, which was quite normal in his school because he was always “the quiet kid” whom people would push around. He didn’t care much about it until satyrs came into his home and forced him to go to Camp Half-Blood.
