Suppose we could start with the basics, yes?

┊Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea
┊ Raised by a single mother
┊ Has one sibling: Older brother
┊ Has never been in a school for more than 3 years

 

Now that we have that out of the way, lets discuss Lee Taemin in a bit more depth.
I guess it's safe to say he's never changed one bit. Stubborn, a brat,
doesn't know when the hell to shut up and doesn't give damn who's around or
who he's being a nuisance to. At least, that's how he makes it seem. Yes, he is a stubborn
little brat but aside from that the rest is just an act.

Our Lee Taemin has a very soft core, which is why he outer shell
is so hard and dense. As a child Taemin was made fun of. He was always
the skinniest in his class. He was also one of the tallest: this drove the shorter boys
insane. He was made fun of because he had no father. He was made fun of
because of his different tastes in things. He was made fun of because he was poor.
The reasons for his mockery seemed to increase by the month.
It was because of this very reason that he had switched schools as many
times as he did. Either he couldn't handle the bullying
or he'd pinpoint the person that gave it to him the worst and fought him.
He'd fight so much that he'd either get expelled or his mother just had transferred.
Either way, Lee Taemin's cold exterior is what shelters his warm interior.
This warm interior only his mother and brother see on rare days.

Look at our Lee Taemin now. He's 17 and he's only gotten worse.
Now he knows how to hurt someone without laying a finger on him/her.
Now our Lee Taemin is nearly heartless.
Rules? Tch, don't make him laugh. As if he'd event listen to
anyone else besides his brother. Due to current events within the family
our Lee Taemin doesn't respect his own mother anymore.
{ An opportunity arose. Our Lee Taemin's mother married to wealthy man. She did it with her
family in mind. He has money and money is what they needed. Don't get her wrong, she
does love the man. But love wasn't the first thing on her mind when she said "I do." This, our
Lee Taemin and his brother do not approve of. }

So this is what we're left with.
A moody, stubborn, homoual 17 year old with a father complex.
