Before I met you, I’d closed off so much of myself to the world and everyone around me. I never thought I would love again, I never wanted to feel the pain of loss as I did having opened myself up only to have my heart torn out. Before I realized I was spinning, falling deeper and deeper into the abyss that he had once shimmered light on but it was you who pulled me out from the emptiness. I didn’t know it then, didn’t realize that meeting you would awaken feelings I tried so hard to push aside. It was slow at first starting off as a mere curiosity and working its way up to the natural urgency of wanting a real connection with someone who was more than just a fan or another notch on the bed post. There was something there – perhaps the pains of our sorrow bringing us closer together – but I was drawn to you in ways I couldn’t ever put down in words. I thought it would be nothing, just a means to an end to satisfy the itch I’d been craving, but I knew after that first kiss that there was no going back. I was already under your spell, a fly caught in your web all the while thinking that I was the spider. You were unlike anyone I’ve ever met in my life. Being around you made me feel again… You were simply captivating and I couldn’t get enough. It was an endless struggle wanting to run away, to leave it all behind and act like I didn’t care or to face the fact that I was falling so hard and fast I was afraid of plummeting straight into the Earth’s core. But you were always there watching and waiting so patiently… Even when I myself didn’t understand what it was I was truly feeling. I don’t think I could every truly say how much you mean to me Baekhyun. Every time I look into your eyes I see so much love and warmth all raveled up in that feisty little package~ You say you can envision a future of us together and I hope you’re right. Though I haven’t yet met your children I can say that the way you speak of them with such cheerfulness that that love overflows onto every aspect of your life and makes me fall for you even harder. I’m not going to run away like some other guys would, I would never fault you for your past or turn away because I know your family is a package deal. It’s a lot for someone like me to take in but I’m more than willing to try. I love you… I’d never get tired of saying how much I truly adore you Baekhyun. Thank you for bringing me back to life.
