Quotes

"Listen to the chanting of the rain,
Embrace the petrified river’s pain.
Take a walk around the edge of ocean’s vein,
Soak up all the warmth at your domain." — Mili, Witch's Invitation

Plots

#01 With... — "I will never be alone with you."
You are wise beyond your age, and you understands people even without words. It was what had ultimately drawn me towards you, and though we have our own circles, we'd seek each other in times of loneliness...
because I know that you will always be there, the same as I do for you.
Neither of us will ever be alone.
Closed | F | Greek | Taken by: Rosemarie Dragomir

#02 Inception — "There's no time. If you're afraid, hold my hand."
I know we went wrong somewhere. More like I did, yes, I admit it now.
I was the one being inconsiderate. But even if now you've come to hate me,
you're still precious to me. I won't let you die.
Will you come to me? Will you trust me now?
You and me, together. That's all we ever need.
We can do this, so will you hold my hand just for the last ride?
Closed | F | Greek | Taken by: Kristina Rose

#03 Before The Dawn — "I'll grab onto you so I won't have to cry."
I can't let you go like this, it's suffocating. And I don't know what to do.
Without knowing, I step on your shadow. I'm probably gradually getting crazier.
Everything about you had been dark and everything about me had been light.
But why is it that the only light I see is in you?
Closed | F | Greek | Taken by: Karissa Locke

#04 Alive — "I need to empty you out little by little."
I can't do anything. All of my air is filled up with you.
You, who are seemingly just around me everywhere, everytime.
I'm suffocated. I need to breathe.
I need to erase you.

Description
Stephen Krause

Stephen Julian Krause — 21 y.o — Hetero-demiual — Son of Jupiter (Roman)
Born April 28 to Joanna Krause, Hollywood Actress
Counselor of Cabin 1

"If I cannot bend the will of Heaven, I shall move Hell." —The Aeneid, Acheron to Juno

Biography— "This is who I am. Danger. A time bomb waiting to explode. And when it does, it kills."

It rained when Stephen was born. Thunderous whispers from the skies had greeted the child's birth, a warning one Joanna Krause knew she would have to act upon when the time comes.

Ten peaceful years passed just like that, and the baby grew into a young little boy, not knowing the special power he harnessed in his blood, nor had he known who his biological father was. Her mother never said anything, except that their father decided to leave before he was born. But then, strange incidents kept occuring. Like the time when a tornado nearly wiped his school to ground level after some of the kids called him 'idiot' because he was dyslexic, or the time when their teacher came into the school's swimming pool finding five bodies in the water... and he was the only one still alive, though barely. Stephen had claimed that someone pushed him into the pool and that he didn't recall what happened afterwards; the autopsy on the other children had showed no signs of external injury, except that it was an almost instantanous death, not caused by drowning. None of it made sense, but of course, he got expelled from school. It's only after this that his mother decided it was time for him to know; one night, she kissed him goodnight as usual after putting a powerful sleep powder in his drink, and she took him to the Wolf House, only leaving a note slipped into the pocket of his jacket along with a ring—the promise ring Jupiter had given her. She'd explained everything: his descent, the possible extent of his powers, and the vision given to her right after he was born. At the end of it was two lines:

'Listen to the chanting of the rain, embrace the petrified river's pain.
Take a walk around the edge of the ocean's vein, soak up all the warmth in your domain.'

Stephen had never taken the ring off his pointer finger from that day.

After finishing his training as a demigod in the Wolf House, he set out to find his camp, only to leave it by the end of the summer to find his mother. Ever since, he'd stayed with his mother except during the summer camp; they easily reconciled, but the moment he got into high school, a whole new sets of problem awaits. One has to admit, Stephen grew into a fine young man—varsity captain, handsome and athletic, sharp and witty. Despite that, he had dated only once: one Kristina Rose, not knowing that she was similarly a demigoddess—and by the end of their seventh month together, he called it off, eventually deciding to move to another school closer to Hollywood. It wasn't without reason; the shadows of his past were never forgotten, and his fears were what haunted him. Had it not been for the ring, he would still have been uncontrolled, a danger to everyone. He may claim himself as a demigod, and have pride in who his father was, but at the end of it all, what he feared the most was to be what he truly was: danger.

Ultimately, he stopped going to camp when Camp Jupiter was destroyed, due to him not being there the moment it was levelled to ground. Not being able to contact any of his Roman demigod friends, he tried to lead a normal life; he went to university, deciding to pursue art for the sake of freeing his soul from the torment—art was his escape, always. But after three years, Fate had called him to the other side; to Camp Half-Blood, where so many secrets lie.

Personality— "If you've experienced being so powerful it scares you, then you know what I feel."

Stephen strikes others as being tough and commanding, which is probably the main reason why he was quickly elected cabin counselor the moment he came to Camp Half-Blood. He carries Jupiter's commanding presence from his father's side along with his mother's charismatic aura, though most of the time he was very careful not to take things too seriously—someone might get injured, after all. Despite that, he doesn't back up from challenges easily, and is easily aggravated when he was cornered; this was his ultimate weakness. Most of the time, he's seen as a distanced person, which isn't wrong.

Likes: Wine (poor Bacchus, really), playing basketball, the soft kind of music that would go along with rain, rain itself, art in general.
Dislikes: Water, pranks, too much heat (sorry, Lord Apollo), nightmares, too-much-sugary-sweet stuffs, people singing in off-tune.

Appearance— "Why beige, you ask? It's the color of ashes from a thunderstrike..."

Stephen is tall and muscular, having trained in combat for years. Like the other Roman demigods, he has an SPQR tattoo on his right arm, decorated with an eagle symbol and seven straight lines, indicating that he had been in camp for seven years. The male stood at 178cm, having both of his ears pierced, and likes to go for t-shirt and jeans or basket shorts.

♠ Eye color: Dark brown, slightly gray
♠ Hair color: Beige

Abilities— "Fight? I don't fight without reasons."

♠ ADHD— Inborn supernatural battle reflexes and senses almost all demigods has.
♠ Dyslexia— A brain hard-wired for Latin. Stephen has a knack for studying languages, but reading is still a major problem for him.
♠ Combat prowess and fighting skills— Stephen is well-trained in Roman legionary warfare, quick to analyze and adapt to his opponent's fighting style. He usually allows his opponent to attack first, opting for a 'vengeance' style of striking. His preferred weapon is a spear, though he's also not bad in fighting barehanded due to having wrestled Lupa herself countless times.
♠ Musicality & Artistic Talent— This one was purely inherited from his mother's side; currently, Stephen is still honing his skills in San Francisco Art Institute, though he's forced to take a break this semester. Figure skating and pair dances was included in this due to his past experiences, but he's nowhere near an expert on these fields.

Demigod Abilities— "My powers can kill me. Yours are no different."

♠ Electrokinesis— The ability to generate thunderbolts and arcs of static electricity. Stephen can electrify his weapon for a short amount of time and electrocute someone by skinship, too; for the time being, he could go up to around 250 Volts with Jupiter's ring. It is still unknown how much energy he could release without wearing the ring. Exception is only when he simply became the conductor, as he is completely immune to electric shocks; because he didn't generate the current, it didn't drain him (in fact, electricity was the best recharging option to his stamina) and the effect would possibly last much longer.
♠ Atmokinesis— The ability to control weather. Stephen doesn't decide when the sun shines, as it's Apollo's part, but if he really concentrates on making it rain in a specific area, it would rain.
♠ Aerokinesis— The  ability to generate winds. His wind is similar to a Venti's, but weaker.
♠ Mist Control— The ability to manipulate the Mist to make others see what he wants them to see; Stephen had only learned this ability recently and hadn't really perfected it.
♠ Jupiter's Authority— As a proclaimed son of Jupiter, Stephen had control over the creatures in his father's domain, including the wind spirits. He can also dominate the wills of the chaotic ones, though it puts him into a state of mental exhaustion quickly.

Inventory"One strengthens, one weakens. Sadly, I need both."

Lucis Ferre— Translates to light bearer. A two-sided gold pendant embedded with diamond on one side and topaz on the other. A press on the diamond will turn this item into Thunderfury, a lightning spear, while the topaz will give him Lightbringer, a quarterstaff. It was a gift from Jupiter which he gave to Lupa for safekeeping; the wolf goddess gave it to him on his twelfth birthday, a year before he set out on his journey to Camp Jupiter. The name, also a reference to the fallen angel Lucifer, is meant as a reminder for him of what pride could do to oneself. It is carved in a small inscription on both sides of the pendant in Latin. Stephen wears it on his neck at all times, with the help of a golden chain. This item has been chanted with both a blessing and a curse, in which if ever it's stolen, it's going to turn back against the thief one day or another.

Jupiter's Promise— The ring Jupiter gave to his mother. When worn, it locks the majority of Stephen's power; it was originally meant for him not to overuse his power such that it might kill him. All in all, it kept his power flow in check.
