She does not forget the past, for the past is what makes her the person she is today. Throughout her life she had been living in darkness, never knowing who she truly was - a demigod; a child of Apollo

The strength, determination, confidence and aura she has were not made, however, she was born with it. The power to heal, to shine, to light the way - they were all for a purpose, a reason for her to light the path of demigods. She is not the first and she definitely won't be the last, but she has a goal - to make sure everyone's future is bright even if it means sacrificing hers.

in order for there to be light, there must also be darkness.

although she is a daughter of apollo; who brightly smiles in likes of the sun and eyes which shine in contact of warm light, her world is dark.

raised by her single mother and elderly grandmother, bora does not notice her father's missing presence, she chooses not to think about him nor wish he were there. in any, solumn, thought, she were glad he were not around as if he had truly wanted to be there, he would've, she holds no excuses for him. the struggles and pains she'd seen her mother bare were far too much. the names, the poverty, the darkness... there is no light where she stood, only the darkness where the world has casted them aside to.

though she wishes to be genuine and accepting of the unknown figure and meaning in her life, she could only feel begrudging about it. maybe she had been too quick to judge, or perhaps it was a defense mechanism. maybe she was just scared because that was all she had been her whole life - afraid.

but no matter how much she wishes it weren't so, it does not stop her destiny, her leaving home for camp half-blood, there was reason and there was will. she must face her destiny no matter how ill-fated it was and no matter how scared she is.

cause to get rid of darkness you must give it a little bit of light.

let the past make you better, not bitter.
