A boy of many personalities, Jongin doesn’t necessarily see himself as someone who would settle for a personality and stick with it, calling said personality his true self. He’s volatile, to say at the least, although it’s quite an understatement for such an intricate persona. He can be another friendly student sitting in a lecture and taking notes diligently, but he can also be the stuck-up kid who skips class just for the sake of hanging out with his friends. He can be an extremely suave person, and in another occasion he would be a total douchebag. But among his fluctuating personalities, there’s one that sticks out the most—one that he constantly wears, seeming so comfortable in this personality that people define Kim Jongin as such.
This personality is mostly described as a firecracker; highly unpredictable and fun. He’s impulsive, obnoxiously loud, and painfully blunt, his tongue rolls faster than his brain. He talks a lot, sometimes too much for his own good, and he’s not necessarily funny but he tries to be, thus cheesy jokes are his forte. He throws terms of endearment at everyone, more because it is funny than a blatant statement of his uality. Often deemed as flirty, Jongin is always leaping from one partner to another, not taking anything too seriously, just like how he treats every other thing in life with such levity.
Jongin is also one of those people that if you knock down, will always get up. He wont ever back down from something he stands behind. He has a large sense of pride in himself and is confident in who he is and his abilities. He works hard for everything, and will be damned if someone else defeats him. He is very driven in all of his goals. He’s quite afraid to make connections with others, and does not offer a word unless needed. But when help his needed not a single thought will cross his mind and he’ll be helping faster than a blink of an eye. He tends to keep to himself, but his eyes are always watching. With the lack of childhood, he’ll tend to have a childish side when it comes to toys or games, but once work kicks in he’ll be in the all serious mode, there is no time for jokes when someone’s life is on the line.
