Chanshik was a kitten born into the top of the upperclass regiment. The best of the best, the purest of the pearls. But you see, Chanshik was different to all the other kittens. He didn't want to be a warrior, he didn't want to train and fight....murder.

 
He wanted to help people.
 
But a healer was fit for the lowest of the low. Only the dirtiest commoners scraped for roots to feed sick birds. But even so, that was his dream, and as wrong as it was to want to drop down a few ranks... That was what he wanted.
 
Chanshik doesn't remember exactly what he said the day he exploded, the day that at only six he have his elderly leader a mouthful of exactly what he thought. And what he wanted. And horrified, they sent him away. Banished him to the snow where he could dig for roots. Just how he always wanted.
 
Now, Eleven years later, Chanshik is still out in the snow, living in a subtle tree house he made, living off what little things he can steal or gather. And he helps animals, just like how he always wanted. Except sometimes he wonders.
