Yes, yes, hello. o u o Some notes about me: I live in timezone GMT + 8, so that should give you an idea for when I'm asleep and for when I'm awake and for when I'm at school, hehe. My writing style is semi-para to para, but I usually mirror what I receive. I love receiving long replies though. o u o If you ask to roleplay, please start, and if I ask, I will start. Also, please have an idea for our roleplay already if and when you ask! I'm busy a lot of the time, but I like roleplaying a lot, so I'm most of the time online anyway (lol). I reply as fast as possible, given good circumstances. However, if I do forget to reply, feel free to poke me! :3 My character may seem all cold and sadistic, but I'm not like that in real life. Sometimes. Hehe. Just kidding. Basically, that's all; please remember that I am only a wallpost away! c:

Description

Sojin is cold, and as the daughter of the god of fire, ironically so. She's not mean, per se, just indifferent; fire is a dangerous element to handle, and sometimes, for the sake of the common good, it's better and easier not to care at all. In a fit of passion, be it good or bad, Sojin almost always ends up burning (literally or metaphorically) everything to ashes. Behind these walls of blank stares lie the true flames her father had gifted her with. Catch her eye, catch her heart, and her love will overflow. Anger her, however, and it'll be your blood.

Sojin has known only two things in her life: to create, and to destroy. She is her father's daughter, after all. Born with a natural affinity for fire, Sojin spent her childhood painting flames instead of hearts, watching ash from the fireplace instead of television, burning flowers instead of picking them. Shunned from a community where fire was bad, fire kills, she was brought by her mother to Camp Jupiter, in the hopes that Sojin could be accepted for who she is, what she does, and what her father has bestowed upon her. Strangely though, Sojin remains indifferent to such matters, cold as ice, ironic with respect to the heat dancing on her fingertips. Her fierce personality only shines through in the presence of an enemy, because foes deserve her fire - all of it.

Sojin had a hard time relating to the kids her age, simply because she was blessed with the gift of fire. She grew up normally enough - just a little bit more detached, more apathetic than usual. She held her mother close to her, but that was as far as her affection went. Many times, she found herself craving for something more than the empty feeling she had everyday, but soon realized this was an irrational thought as all the other kids either feared or ostracized her. It was only in Camp Jupiter (thanks to her attentive mother) where she gained a better grasp of her powers and her feelings (or lack thereof).
when you play with fire, you're bound to get hurt.

Park Sojin
19 Years Old
Daughter of Vulcan - roman god of fire
fourth cohort
( Wolf )
two years in camp (& counting)
ADHD - When she's in one of her fiery passions, Sojin tends to be quite impulsive.

Dyslexia - It's hard for her to read text in the human world, which was another reason for some of the other kids to make fun of her. She prefers to listen to her lessons.

Pyrokinesis - Sojin possesses the ability to set objects ablaze and engulf them in flames. She can also conjure fire on her hands from thin air.

Thermal Manipulation - Sojin can also control the temperatures of her surroundings. Because cold is the mere absence of heat, she can manipulate both fire and ice. If she concentrates hard enough, she can also alter a person's internal temperature.

Fire Immunity - Since she is the daughter of fire, it is only natural that she be unharmed by it.

Bow and Arrow of Imperial Gold - Loyal to the legacy of Camp Jupiter, Sojin uses Imperial Gold, fatal to monsters and immortals. She likes its unstable nature, given that it could be advantageous to her when she really becomes angry. She prefers the bow and arrow to the other types of weapons because burning shafts from long distance yield just the right amount of force to cause pain.
