THE STORY ENDED WITHOUT EVEN STARTING

He would've been a star. He'd bring people to tears from the way his fingers brushed over the ivory keys. People would adore him and his music.  that's dead.

Lee byunghun. composer extraordinaire. rich kid. charmer. senior. malevolent gangster. wait, what? this kid, this rude jackass, is many things. and as many would have never guessed, he was a malicious criminal who rather enjoyed striking fear into the hearts of the negligible. he never cares for anything. he's sadistic, prude, cocky and has got a hell of a temper. if you try defying him, he'll plot a slow, embarrassing and potentially harmful downfall, even though he may not show it right away. he holds no value in the words friends, love, seniors, and . Friends - a less harsh term for a person you want something from. love - an ideal in which something will be taken from him, no matter what. seniors - haughty people who think you're below them, and they should be striked down to your level. - an interaction between people in order to get something they want, an illusion of intimacy. however, despite his jackassness - underneath the dirt and grime and filth - there is a teenager who dreams and thinks and hopes. byunghun once had a dream of using his talent to getting people to listen. l.joe uses intimidation and fear to get people to listen to him, as well as seduction and charms. byunghun thought that the world was capable of many things if people put aside their differences. l.joe knows that the world will always fight back, so he does, too. byunghun wonders what it'd be like to be happy. l.joe does everything he can to make sure he isn't, so he doesn't have to have anything taken away from him. inside, there is a boy who struggles to put himself back together, even though the sharp edges leaves him bleeding. outside, there is the shell that protects this boy in any way, shape or form.

the flowing melody, seemingly tickling my ear...

Believe it or not, but byunghun was born into a completely happy family. he was born to a bright, optimistic mother who did everything to help her son to shine. he had a proud, adoring father who loved his wife unconditionally. byunghun had a happy childhood. They recognized his talent for piano instantly. as soon as he could walk, he dashed for the huge instrument. as soon as he could talk, he wanted to know what each key was and what it meant. and he was amazing. he could wow people at the age of 5. he was always smiling, joking around and curious about the world around him. he was absolutely naive. so, when he heard his mother was sick, he didn't think it could be too bad. however, it only grew worse and worse. no matter what his mother told him, byunghun knew that his mother was dying. when he was 7, he was motherless. that took a terrible toll on his father. he becae depressed, an empty shell of what he once was. byunghun began to pull more and more weight as he continued to keep the ripped family from disassembling at the seams. Unfortunately, the more byunghun did, the more his father began to fray. The man loved his wife too much. losing her was losing his soul, his heart, his mind. at 10, byunghun was fatherless. his father decided to commit suicide on the third anniversary of byunghun's mother's death. terrified, byunghun fled the home. he knew there was nothing there. as much as he pretended that there was something, there was nothing in that home the evening he and his father came home from the hospital three years ago. byunghun became a smudge... a blur as he roamed the city of seoul. He was lonely. He'd rummage through the garbage dumpsters, beg for money, and visit the soup kitchen. Byunghun didn't know he had a break coming to him when a man came up to him while he ate days-old sandwiches, asking what he was doing. That man was a crimelord. Seoul's biggest, to be exact. He was relentless, shameless, merciless. And he saw that Byunghun's natural handsomeness and the fact that he was bitter. a bitter boy mad at the world was the perfect mold for what the crimelord had in mind. and so, he adopted byunghun. 9 years. it took 9 years. for byunghun to become l.Joe, the malevolent gangster that is feared by the lower and middle class today. he became head of the ion ring and human trafficking, he personally oversees the exchanged of drugs and illegal weapons, and enjoys torturing/killing the unfortunate souls that owe his gang money. in the higher classes, he is some rugged charmer who can woo any socialite he comes across. he is the forbidden fruit of the rich people and no one dares to wonder why he is so well known everywhere. everyone's swimming with sharks; it's just better not to question anything. It's funny for anyone who knows that L.Joe is indeed the shark to see  him pretending like he's troubled in order to get what he wants. This jackass knows every trick in the book to get what he wants... or what it looks like he wants. Because what he wants, he can never have. He wants to be Byunghun again, the aspiring pianist who can dream of love and happiness. He wants to be a teenage who is allowed to hope. But there is no way that anyone can ever know this. Sometimes even L.Joe doesn't know how much he wants this impossible idea
