YongGuk was brought up in a loving family. his mother and father were always there for him when he needed them but it wasn't until he turned 18 when his father went off to work in America but never returned. . he told himself he would never love anyone because they were going to leave him like his father did, but sadly just as things were getting better for the Bang family. YongGuk's mother passed away from a car accident. which left YongGuk alone again.  he had to take care of his brother and sister. after they left he alone even more. he took up drinking, going to the bar every night and picking up drunken girls to fill that void in his heart.
