Ayo! One of the admins here and you can call me Kim. My timezone is GMT-5/-4 depending on whether it is Daylight Saving Time (and I usually never know which it is currently OTL). I live in New York City, and I am currently a high school student (pray for my soul). As I am obligated to stay on top of my studies, my replies come at a very slow speed, but there are times when I might actually have time to respond more than once. I am a para writer and the length of my paras will depend on my mood and the amount of inspiration I have for the plot. And yes, I prefer plotting instead of winging it. I am a really chill person so don't be afraid to say hello and ask me to rp! ^^

Description
MAIN IMAGE

Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it.

Jongsuk is a dreamer, literally. He dreams of finding a purpose in life in which he can bring happiness to others.

The grand comeback of the Night Circus brought him closer to a purpose. As a photographer, Jongsuk dreams of capturing the magical moments of such a rare opportunity that does not come by very often. Pictures are worth a thousand words and Jongsuk is determined to spread the joy and excitement of the magic to others.

The tattoo of a bird on his neck symbolizes his freedom. Moving from South Korea to London allowed him to start over and rebuild himself from his past self that he despised to a self that he is proud to be. He does not like to speak of his past, trying his best to "fly" and break away from his past image, never wanting to go back ever again.

Jongsuk has a flower-boy, gentleman-like image, but can also be tough and manly when he needs to be. He is generally nice to people, especially females - mostly because of his guilt from the past. He is wary of males, whether they are a truly good person or not. He is also quiet and reserved, usually too busy taking candid photos of anything he deems interesting or inspiring.

Jongsuk was born and raised in South Korea, and lived a rather normal childhood until his late teenage years. During his first year of college at the age of 19, he hung out with the wrong crowd. His group of "friends" was actually a gang and Jongsuk did not know until they finally invited him to "hang out" during the ungodly hours of the night. Jongsuk was able to stay clear of any trouble the first night by just observing and making sure there weren't any police in sight. However, Jongsuk was not able to run away for very long in fear of his "friends" ruining his life, and more importantly, hurting his family.

The flashback of the traumatizing night still haunted him today - as much as he tried erasing it from his memories after all these years. The tear-stricken face that begged him to spare her, her cries of help that were drowned out by the roaring storm reappeared in his nightmares. Jongsuk could not do it. No. He refused to. Stealing and vandalizing was the last straw. He would rather be beaten to death than take advantage of her.

The last thing he saw before his body going numb due to the nonstop kicks and punches was the female running away to safety. When he had awoken at the hospital, the female was beside him and thanked him for sparing her.

After the event, Jongsuk decided to move to London as a transfer student in university. To start afresh, to get rid of his past, to become a better person, and to find his purpose in life in which he can make people smile and feel happy. Almost five years of settling down, news of the Night Circus spread and Jongsuk was just as excited as everyone else at the opportunity to study and observe the magical phenomenon that brought joy and excitement in people's live.
