About Me

Living with a struggle, young Kyungsoo thought himself to be useless and pathetic. He seemed to be failing all his classes, easy subjects which he knew he could easily pass, and yet whenever he was faced with the exam paper before him, he saw the words fly out the page and float around him and he knew then that something was wrong. It wasn't that he couldn't read, but it cost him a lot of difficulty. The words became scribbles of a language he seemed to understand but didn't comprehend how. His mind worked a million times faster than average, and his teachers were always puzzled how intellectual Kyungsoo got such low scores. Having ADHD and being almost blind as a bat seemed as enough an excuse for his poor grades. 

Being an orphan, Kyungsoo spent his teenage years secluded in a library. He dropped out of school after obtaining his middle school degree with difficulty, and locked himself away in the comfort of musky pages and humid shelves of material he had the most difficulty reading. Despite books being his worse enemy, the young Kyungsoo found a haven in the midst of the knowledge that surrounded him, and it made him realize that being a hermit felt better than going out into a world that didn't understand him.

The old man who ran the library Kyungsoo worked at allowed the younger to stay inside its walls, finally gaining an independence from the wretched orphanage he was forced to stay in. He ate, slept and breathed in surrounded by books and he eventually came to know that words weren't so much an enemy as more than a weapon. 

One day, the old man received a collection of rare Greek books. They spoke of tales from Olympus and Gods that ruled the sky and underworld. The younger was mesmerized by the tales of strong descendants, half human and half God, that helped their parents protect the world. He grew inside his lonely heart a sort of admiration and affection for these heroes, and belatedly realized that he could read Ancient Greek and yes, he had no trouble over it.

No long after that he was found. He didn't know how but he was. They walked in on a normal afternoon and dropped the bomb, and Kyungsoo didn't know how to feel about it. He was made to pack up the little belongings he had, and was given a direction to follow. The old librarian simply encouraged the younger to follow the paths of his ancestors, and Kyungsoo quickly realized that the old man was probably behind the entire ordeal.

With a backpack filled with clothes and books and his reading glasses, Kyungsoo stepped out of his musky and humid cave and entered the place he would now call home. All because he was sworn with promises of meeting his mother, Athena. 

Side Note: Because of his social impairement and constant bullying, Kyungsoo stopped mentally growing when he was 10 and shut himself off. Treat with care, he might be 19 years old in his body but he's actually 10 emotionally. Throughout the years he's learned to "act" his age but all he wants is to go back to being little whenever he can. Kyungsoo also has the ability to go even more little. If he feels secure and comforted with someone who allows him to be as little as he wants, at times he might even go from being 10 to being a toddler. Kyungsoo's trust goes by level, and if he trusts you enough then he might allow you to see him in the most precious and fragile age of his life; his toddler years.

As the son of the goddess of wisdom, Kyungsoo is very wise, intelligent, and knowledgeable, having the potential to come up with brilliant strategies.

Kyungsoo has the potential to become a great warrior, and a master of both armed and hand-to-hand combat. He is a skilled tactician, and would frequently use his wisdom to overcome his opponents instead of sheer force.
▲precognition  
The ability to see the past and the future by dreams. This ability was granted by his mother after she had claimed him as her son. 
▲mist control 
Ability to control the Mist, which is a supernatural force controlled by the goddess Hecate that twists a mortal's sight from seeing monsters, gods, Titans, and various other mythical creatures and supernatural occurrences by replacing them with things the mortal mind knows about and can comprehend.
▲shape-shifting 
Kyunsoo has the ability to change into any known animal. He usually turns into an owl, which is ironic because he looks like one.

Out of Character

The Overprotective Sibling, Open — Fellow child of Athena who takes a liking to Kyungsoo right away and often cares for him and maybe even mother him because of his extremely shy nature.

The Instructor, Open — A fellow camper, preferrably someone with extremely great fighting skills, who helps Kyungsoo practice his combat skills. Kyungsoo has unexpected amazing combat skills which even he is afraid of.

The Friend, Open — .Someone who takes a liking to Kyungsoo and becomes a close friend to him. Someone who can put up with his introverted tendencies and fear of human contact. Someone who protects him from others' hostility.

The Joker, Open — A jokster who uses his own methods to try and make Kyungsoo feel welcomed by basically forcing him to go along with all of his mischievous ways like pranks or even escapades.

The Silent Type, Open — Fellow camper who is just as quiet and Kyungsoo and tends to spend his time near the comfort of books like Kyungsoo. They get to know each other over similar interests in literature and comfortable silence.

The Daddy, Jongin — Male who cares and loves Kyungsoo when he's in his "little" state. Growing up without parents and all alone, it's the moments where he gets to be young again what he wants the most. Romance plot, you have to work for this one.
