CHARACTER BIO

Not too much is known about Mars before he came to the DWMA. There are whispers of course, rumors that he was a gangster or that he was heir to one of the most prominent martial arts families but he denies both. In fact, he denies pretty much everything anyone comes up with about his life prior. Whether it is true or not it doesn't matter to him because the past is the past, anything he did or didn't do before fousing his life on becoming the ultimate weapon (a death scythe) became inconsequential.
        The problem that has plagued him is that he cannot do it by himself. His abilities do not always allow him to fight on his own without a meister. Not that he has no skill in it, in fact he has taken out more than a few evil souls on his own, but he knows he would be so much powerful with another soul to resonate with.
       Mars has tried many times with meisters of many kinds. Being that he can adapt his soul wavelengths to be compatible to use for just about anyone he thought that such a task would be easy but there were always complications. Personalities clashed more often than weapons and he found himself walking away from all of them.
        The only time he had ever gotten close was his senior year in the Academy. His partner had been brilliant and just as dedicated as himself. They had managed to collect all 99 souls but when it came time to kill the witch, things went terribly wrong. The woman who had been his meister was killed and Mars was left for dead. Somehow he survived but he never forgot that day or her and he blamed himself.


Demon Weapon — Mars has the ability to turn into many different kinds of bladed weapons.
