Background: Mark always says he’s contented with his life, being given the liberty after having realized the hardship his parents had decided to weigh his older brother down. But that would always be his biggest lie. In a way, Mark considers himself lucky because he wasn’t like his brother, who until now remains as the apple of their parents’ eyes, just because he was better—more responsible and worthy as a heir of the Tuan Group of Companies. It was his brother’s existence that had saved him from the pressure that could have been his if he had been the older, or if he had been an only child.
