@kang taehyun. Jungkook enjoyed poking Taehyun and getting these types of reactions out of him. He was so easy to get a rise out of and well doing it in different ways made him feel good. It was a fun way to enjoy boring parties like these. Ever since they had met there was just a good rivalry to them. Still, seeing that smug little face did burn the oil on his skin.
"Someone told me I could be a dancer and a singer. But comedian is a first. Did someone ever tell you, you could be nice wall decoration standing here." He sipped at his drink and then clicked his tongue at the other, "If I'm the dog, then I can't believe a rat like you is just eating all the food." The other was eager to take another drink and he couldn't help but laugh. "Need to drown the sorrows since Im here huh Kang?" The alpha finished off his drink and took another just as the omega did.
"Because poking a dejected omega like you is fun, as much as I hate you." That much was true that he did enjoy bullying the young omega. There were people in this room trying to up to him and honestly it was more annoying than Taehyun. "It's easier to bully you than take those who want me to breed them in my hotel room."
@jeon jungkook. taehyun's hands balled into fists so hard he could feel his fingernails digging into the skin of his palms. why on earth did jungkook have to approach him when there were plenty of other people to converse with in the room? the thought alone had the young ceo seething.
"did anyone ever tell you that you should've been a comedian instead of a businessman?" taehyun replied dryly, his upper lip curled in disgust. "funnily enough, i happened to be considering the same exact thing. i was shocked that a dog was able to slip past security." he mumbled into his drink while peering over the rim of the glass. as soon as a waiter walked by with a tray, taehyun flagged him down and handed over the now empty cup. the omega figured he'd need to have more than just one round of alcohol to help him survive the night with jungkook nearby.
"anyway, why did you come and seek me out? don't we see enough of each other back in korea?" he joked. they hardly conversed at all, so why did jungkook suddenly wish to hang around him? taehyun figured the alpha had a more mischievous motive than simply small talk between the pair.
@kang taehyun. There were so many of these events that the young alpha CEO could not keep track of what the purpose of this function was. The man had just arrived and he could tell that this was already going to be a bore. There were different people trying to brown nose him and try to get into his fashion shows. He had to give fake pleasantries and ignore the fact that he hated most people here. He was told that he had to keep face and continue to attend events like this to promote the brand and himself. After feigning some pleasant whatevers he had finally managed to break away and grab a drink at the bar.
The wall looked comfortable and he was able gather his thoughts for the moment separating himself from everyone else. He took a good comfortable sips to relish the cool whiskey.
It wasn't long until he felt eyes on him. He had looked up and stared at the crowd wondering who would be staring so intently. Then he had found someone in the same boat as him. But it wasn't pleasant one, it was the man that got him angry over nothing. It could be some fun to so he made his way over.
"It really looks like anyone could be invited to these events." Jungkook looked around, "No protection from your agent this time huh Kang."
@jeon jungkook. taehyun shoved his hands into the pockets of his dress pants, an annoyed sigh passing through his lips. he'd been at this gala for a total of nine minutes and already numerous people came up to him in an attempt to speak to the 'most successful, youngest ceo' or whatever else the media labeled him as. don't get him wrong, he enjoyed the attention, but sometimes he needed a familiar face to ground him. so, when his agent bailed on him at the last minute because of a flight delay, he had no choice but to go alone and hope for the best.
just when taehyun thought the event couldn't become any more exhausting, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted the one man who grinded his gears beyond belief.
jeon jungkook, another young ceo in the fashion industry - the same as taehyun - stood near the wall opposite taehyun, nursing a drink in his hand.
not wanting to be caught staring, taehyun quickly averted his gaze, instead focusing on the carpet, acting like it was the most interesting item in the room. it shouldn't come as a surprise that jungkook attended this event as well. after all, everybody who was anybody was invited.
