Fights back the giggle that further displayed my amusement from the sound of your hungry stomach, quickly eased by your absentminded touching. Splays my long digits out and wiggles them with a little smile before pulling my hand away when our order is called out.

Takes long strides through the door that leads to the outdoor seating, the area completely secluded and hidden away from the world due to its high hedges. Carefully chooses a table that is even more out of the way from prying eyes, finally pulling my mask away from my face and slipping into the bench. Offers you a broad smile, my nails tapping excitedly against the wooden table.

I carefully place the cakes in front of us before grabbing onto the drink of my straw and trapping it between my pearly whites, taking my time into indulging at the delicious taste before getting to answering your interrogations.
We have two dogs with the girls, Haku and Mata, but they were Shuhua’s birthday presents from us so essentially they are hers. And I love both animals honestly…I would probably consider myself more of a cat person though. What about yourself?

As we get closer to the register, I peer into the display case of bread and sweets, glancing at you with a broad smile.
Really? Eheh thank you. I kinda wanna try the key lime pie and....mmmm...you wanna try the seoul pie? I think it's a bulgogi filling.
Before you could agree, I end up ordering just that for us, along with two pistachio lattes as well, not wanting to hold up the line. As soon as we pay, I take hold of your arm to lead us to the side, where the other customers were waiting for their orders.

/is about to pick a carrot cake but changes my mind when a pistachio and strawberry slice catches my eyes and i pair it with a matcha based drink. takes out my wallet, choosing to pay with cash for our desserts. once the payment is done, we're invited to take a seat as our order will be brought to our table once ready.

i certainly enjoy sweet drinks but if i pair them with cakes, then i will go for something plain, maybe an americano. or just some tea. tea and sweets, the british way.
/upon reaching our destination, i open the door for you, following you inside the small but cozy cafe, finding us an empty table by the window, leaving my jacket on one of the chairs to keep it occupied before beckoning you to the counter so we can take a look at their selection of cakes and drinks.

@✽ miyeon c. /raises my brows, surprised by your preferences./ oh my. it's been forever since i've heard anyone speak of the pineapple cake. it's really so good. /leads the way towards the cafe, walking in a slow, relaxed pace, strolling down the alley as i hum in thought, struggling to come up with an answer./ i'm not picky with cakes, i have a sweet tooth but i suppose i do like the fruity ones, especially the ones with sour cherries and chocolate. or carrot cake. i tend to avoid tho the cakes with too much whipped cream.

@✽ tsuki f. Honestly I was /this/ close to actually getting lost, you’re right. It has been years since I got to take the subway and it took me a minute to get back into how things work around here.
Once stepping inside the establishment with you, I followed your lead closely while my eyes seemed to take in my surroundings; the cafe’s first floor was moderately crowded and the staff very welcoming by the smiles I could distinguish on their faces.
Definitely, get anything you’d like — it’s my treat. I’m very curious on what would be your favourite picks. Let’s share!

It doesn't take long for us to get across the street and into the cafe, my height isn't all that far off from yours and my excitement made my strides be longer carrying us at a faster pas. The smell of warm pastries and coffee immediately hit me right in the face as soon as we enter, my mouth instantly watering and I immediately release my grip on your bicep to hurry on in.

Upon breaking apart from the hug, I carefully have an arm hovering around you as to keep people from potentially bumping into you, though once we were finally out of the station it seemed like the crowds had dissipated around us, your own arm coming flying to wrap around my own and the gesture only had me grinning like a fool under my mask.
You weren’t kidding, it really is very close from the station’s exit.
We could definitely try to get to the terrace if there’s not many people around, it would be nice to enjoy the nice weather
Noticing as the light went green for pedestrians to cross, I gently tug you along with me, following the pace of your strides closely not to have you straining yourself before reaching to open the cafe’s door, gesturing you to walk in first before following suit.

With a swift movement, I take hold of your bicep, my long fingers wrapping around it with a bit of effort, tugging you out the door with me, skipping partially. Pointing just across the street, I look back at you with a grin.
It's just right there. They have an outdoor terrace that is generally pretty quiet at this time of day if you wanna sit back there.

Fixing the cap on my head, I make sure to not make eye contact with anyone in the wagon as I didn’t want our outing to be spoiled by people following us or even worse, paparazzis starting to spread rumours about the nature of our relationship. Soon, I was able to step out of the train once arriving at said station we had agreed upon as our meeting point, climbing the stairs eagerly as to reach the exit you had mentioned in one of our previous text exchanges, a wide smile stretching over my lips underneath my mask once my eyes had caught sight of you in the middle of the crowd and I immediately made my way over, welcoming your frame in a loose hug.

I wasn't hard to find, not with how I partially stood in everyone's way by the convenience store in the station, but I figured my masked up face and clothing may bring some area of confusion. Just like everyone else that seemed to stream past me, I'm dressed in all black, black bomber jacket matched with a short skirt and black knee high boots, black locks pulled in a half pony with a black little bow. Every so often my eyes lift to look at the escalators to see if you were coming down or up them, and when I do finally see you in the distance my hand lifts high to excitedly wave to you.

“But I’ll pray for you all the time, if I could be by your side, I’ll give you all my life, my seasons. By your side, I’ll be your seasons.”

Doyeon stared blankly at her notebook, spacing out while one of her favorite songs plays on her earphones. She fell in love with the song the first time she listened to it, it fully encapsulated what she cannot explain and put into words; however, it also means that it touches her sensitive side. Pathetically enough she cries on that song when it gets too much and if not for the waitress serving her order, she would be drowning in her thoughts and cry on her own again..

She removed her earphones and thanked the lady for serving her iced americano and cheesecake, giving her a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. Nonetheless, the server returned the smile and left shortly.

“Ah, where was I? Right, writing.” She mumbled to herself, she put the music on again, leaving wave to earth’s seasons on repeat. She took a sip of her bitter coffee and heaved a sigh, she knows she’ll just end up writing cringey overdramatic , but who cares, no one will ever read them anyways and it makes her feel better.

She started, quietly and carefully inking the paper with her words–translating whatever she’s keeping to herself. She’s been meaning to write about the art of noticing, she wonders how this one would turn out.


“With weary eyes, voice just loud enough for me to hear, your hand holding onto mine, you asked if your love was enough. I wish I could have told you that I noticed everything you have ever done for me. The way your smile puts the sun into shame as you greet me good morning, the way your arms would tighten as you press a kiss on my forehead, or even the way you held my hand to ground me when my mind’s leading me astray. You were such a wonderful being, I wish I could write your name along with the stars, and if it fell, I said I would wish that you’d fall for me in every world there is.

There is so much to you– the way you listen to my never ending stories, my questionable thoughts, dirty jokes, and morbid humor. When you took care of me with gentleness when exhaustion was evident in my eyes, or how you wish you could protect me from everything. I noticed everything. What you did for me, but also the signs that I will not be healthy nor good for you in the end.

I don’t know how or when I started giving up on people or is it really giving up or choosing myself? I am confused, I do not know- I was lost, but at the same time, I found myself where you left me three years ago, how you treated me three years ago. I noticed that too. I could not tell whether it’s the truth or just another lie. It became hard to distinguish which is black and white, but I know that I have seen that scene before, heard the same words before. I was terrified, I still am, that I will become someone that I am not because of it.

I’ve always questioned my worth, but I know I am full of life, full of warmth for the people I love, gentle, but protective when needed. I know I am careful with my words, and it breaks me to be aware that I am becoming what I am not–something that I do not want to be. I want to remain soft, I want to keep believing in good albeit knowing how cruel the world can be. I want to remain the person you fell in love with, and I cannot do that if I am destroying you as I ruin myself when I am with you. You’ll be hurt continuously and it’s something I do not want.to keep happening.

Time goes by and seasons change. Though this love that I have for you would remain the same. I’ll always pray for you, not necessarily for your happiness, but for all the things that you deserve to come your way. I’ll still write your name along with the stars, and if they fall, I’d wish you a world where everything is good to you. I cannot be by your side anymore, but in a way, I’d still love you through this paper and ink. My love, I am sorry for breaking our hearts, but I will never be sorry for not breaking our souls.”

By the time Doyeon finished writing, her vision was blurry, though she kept herself strong and hugged the little plushie that was sitting on her lap the whole time. “We’ll be alright.” She assured herself, casting her notebook and pen aside to finish the food she ordered.

@✽ chittaphon l. ᵗᵉⁿ even as he ordered such an ordinary flavor, there was a charm in simplicity that she liked about him. strawberry was comforting and nostalgic much like her male counterpart. a warm chuckle bubbles from her brims, extending her hand to take hold of the cone the cashier brought towards her. "well thank god you ordered strawberry and not banana. i would've noted that as a red flag in my journal." she nudges her shoulder against his forearm in a playful manner before reaching for her wallet and paying for her treat with a card. "i think i would've resisted taking a of your sorbet too if that was the case." waiting patiently as the cashier hands ten his dessert, chaewon gestures to sit in the booth with a wave of her hand and steps ahead towards the location, knowing dotingly he'd follow after her. "next time, you should order for me and I'll order for you, okay?"

@✽ chaewon k. "cookies n cream is amazing though, so i don't blame you," ten let the door close behind him as he stuck to the female's side, eyes floating over the few options he had. "i think... honestly? it kind of depends on the occasion. usually when i'm alone or with a friend, or a date, i usually go for the same option because i know it'll be worth my money. while if i'm with family, like my parents, or with my long term partner, or i'm just feeling very bold, i'm more adventurous," he explained, finger pointing toward the strawberry sorbet to get the attention of the waiter before politely ordering one in a cup. with a swift turn of his head he gave chaewon an amused smile and a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders while he waited for their treat. "although somehow i do like thinking that i might pick something new even though i know i won't."

"mmm, I'm a bit boring when it comes to flavors. i like cookies n cream and I haven't really turned my back on it yet." loyal or stubborn, chaewon couldn't decipher which adjective she was, but she proudly places her order while her date takes a look at the sorbet flavors that strayed far from dairy. "how about you? are you a simple guy that likes traditional fruity flavors or are you adventurous?"

"nope, you're perfectly on time." he reassured, sliding off his glasses so he could eye the different flavors and check out his options. although strawberry was his go-to, he did enjoy something new every once in a while, especially because he didn't treat himself with ice cream that often. "are you the type of person that already knows what they're gonna get before they arrive? or do you prefer deciding in the moment?"
