The undersea kingdom of Andros is expansive and imperialistic; spanning across large areas of the ocean. Like Andros' surface-dwellers, the Mer kingdom of Andros is led by a single royal family with various levels of societal culture.
The current king of the merfolk is King Neptune and Queen Ligea; their children, Crown Princess Tressa and Crown Prince Nereus. The merfolk are a ually dimorphic species; the females being Mermaids and the males Tritons. Each sibling will rule over their respective thrones when of age. Their palace lies just north of the equator.
Relations between the mermaids and surface dwellers is positive.

Mermaids are an aquatic magical race with the upper body of a woman and the lower half of a fish. They are exceedingly beautiful, generous and kind. Depending on where they grew up, a Mermaid may have different tail colours or fin types.
Mermaids corrupted by evil magic become Dark Sirens; they are bloodthirsty creatures who care for naught other then enchanting humans(particularly men) to their deaths with their siren song. Dark Sirens are rare but should be avoided at all costs; these creatures intrinsically know their victims deepest desires and how to use it against them.

Tritons are an aquatic magical race with the upper body of a man and the lower half of a fish. Unlike Mermaids, Tritons have a single fin found over the backbone and on their forearms. They are less visually colourful compared to Mermaids, but by no means are they less beautiful.
Tritons corrupted by evil magic become Tritannus(named after their king who first underwent the transformation), turning them into hulking sea creatures covered in scales and shark spines. Compared to their manipulative Siren counterpart, Tritannus' are physically violent and crave death through physical means.
Andros, 'realm of Oceans', is a planet made up of 90% water and connected to all oceans in both the Magix and Mortal realms. Chains of islands- known as Archipelago- make up 10% of the remaining surface area of the planet; sprinkled across the northern and southern hemiphere's.
The north of the planet houses Omega Portal, the Isles of Nadur, and the royal homestead of King Teredor, Queen Niobe, and Princess Layla/Aisha. Northern Andros is a tropical paradise of jungle islands, caribbean culture and solarpunk architecture; the majority of the population reside here, as although the islands are smaller, they are more numerous then the South of the planet.
The south of Andros houses the largest islands, including the archipelago belonging to the Huening clan, and has a mediterranean climate. Aesthetically, the south is an amalgamation of ancient Greek and Italian architecture.
Many islands are volanic in nature, and the undersea bed of Andros is swathed in heat vents, mountain ranges and volcano's.
Pirates are a common threat to Andros, their bases mainly on the uninhabited islands when not seafaring and plundering. Another common danger to the Andros surface world is monsoons, tsunami's and cataclysmic level storms. Out in the opean ocean, sailors may run into the ocassional kraken or leviathan; though they usually only attack if threatened or disturbed.
Abandoned ruins of ancient buildings also rest both above and below the ocean waves, hinting to a empiric history though their origins have been lost to time.

✎ 《The Sea of Shimmering Flowers》the name comes from the "Shimmering Flowers" that wash to the shore every year, traveling from "The Tree of Shimmering Flowers." This is also the staircase leading up to the valley up ahead with the same name.
✎ Yeonjun is from Lymphea the capital of Linphea; jewel of the realm. The city was originally built on trees because living on the ground was far too dangerous. At present Lymphea is probably the safest city in Linphea and there are houses and buildings near the ground. The richer and more famous you are, the higher you live; with Yeonjun being a prince of Lymphea — his location is set 《The Tree of Shimmering Flowers》crucial to the flora on the planet. It's located in the middle of the 《Sea of Shimmering Flowers》the largest ocean in Linphea.
