It feels like an eternity since I joined this roleplay and became a co-admin. Back then, I was under Head Admin Zelo, who created this roleplay and eventually left it to me. To those that were here in the beginning and remember me when my main roleplay characters were Minyeong and Jongin-the royal Kwangju siblings who cherished each other despite being born from different wombs-I'm sure you agree. It really does feel like an eternity ago.

Since then, I've seen the rise of the Seoul kingdom, the birth of the illegitimate Prince Luhan, the murder of his parents-Guard Aron and Domina Minyeong (my first character here) by Dominos Zelo, his escape to Kwangju and reunion with his uncle-Dominos Jongin. That plot line soon ended, leading to a new chapter centered around Kwangju and Seoul's war over the murder of Domina Minyeong.
Jongin and Zelo soon became the two most powerful figures in the roleplay, their struggle brewing wonderfully dramatic plots and stemming conflict between the two kingdoms as well as angst in their own dysfunctional families. And throughout this maelstrom, there was another superpower rising, the kingdom of Bussan, where the -indulging Dominos Yongguk ruled.
Jongin, the illegitimate son of the past Dominos, who was in love with his Concubine Kyungsoo and felt nothing but filial companionship to his own wife, Domina Shinyeong, was most definitely my masterpiece in this roleplay. From his union with Kyungsoo were born three children; Princess Sooyeon, Heir Yixing, and Prince Sehun-two of which would lead the third generation of this roleplay. While they grew up under the scrutiny of their parent's enemies, Shinyeong had their own son who she claimed as Jongin's...but in reality, was the result of her affair with Jongin's past Doctore, Wu Kris.
After discovering the truth, Jongin exhiled his ex-wife and her child, where they were rescued and taken in by Kris. They started a new life of normalcy, not to be touched again by the royal family until much much later, and by the new Heir at that.
After years of an endless power struggle, Zelo is killed by a rebellion in his own home. Luhan, Minyeong's son and the precious nephew of Jongin, who has trained him like his own child, returns to claim the throne and become the kind Dominos his stepfather was not.
Death continued to strike. Princess Sooyeon died due to a horrible accident and the Dominos soon fell into darkness, plunging his kingdom into wars, in search of conquest and power to fill the vacancy that his daughter's death left him. Kwangju soon became an Empire and Jongin a warlord. In the midst of all this bloodshed and violence, Yixing grew into a peace-advocating young man, a beacon of hope for his nation with his childhood friend and fiancee Commander Joonmyeon by his side. But as Yixing grew brighter, his younger brother Prince Sehun grew darker. For each person that Yixing saved, Sehun killed.
With the chasm between Yixing and Jongin growing larger, the young Heir would seek out Wu Kris, who was a priest for the god Apollo and a renowned healer. The true reason for Kris' separation from Jongin came out-one practiced white magic while the other worshipped the god Mars and the black arts. Kris taught his student the purest form of healing, while Jongin took his youngest as his own student to preach the darkness and the young Commander Joonmyeon grew into a skilled warrior under Doctore Chanyeol.
The climactic confrontation would come much later, after the shocking death of the heirless Dominos Yongguk and Jongin's orders to capture Bussan. Prince Sehun and Commander Joonmyeon were sent out to enemy territory, despite the protests of Kyungsoo and Yixing. Bussan would be conquered and it would become obvious that not only Jongin, but also Sehun, were shrouded in darkness and a thirst for blood.
Sehun and Yixing would fight, Joonmyeon acting as his fiancee's sword as the healer Heir tried to break his brother's demonic possession. Finally realizing the object which controlled the prince, a cursed medallion, the Heir would try to reach for it, only to have Sehun attack him. Joonmyeon ends up being stabbed to save his beloved and with his final ounce of energy, snatches the medallion from Sehun's neck.
The teenage prince breaks down, unable to accept that he killed and tortured countless people, not to mention that he fatally wounded his childhood mentor and the lover of his own brother. Kris is able to assist Yixing in reviving the Commander in the only way possible-using black magic. Once Sehun's curse is broken, the repurcussions attack Jongin, who ends up dying breathing out Kyungsoo's name.
Another chapter closes.
Once it opens again, the chaos has passed and the new generation of royals is left with the aftermath of death and destruction. Terrified of his own acts, Sehun leaves his home in search of a renewed self while Yixing opens his arms to a more peaceful union between the Kwangju empire and Bussan. Bussan's substitute heir, Lord Chen, is brought into the Kwangju palace along with Yongguk's past Concubine, Daehyun, who is made a lord.
Sehun would return after a year of travelling, during which his long-time lover Sulli died. She was killed by the same disease that struck the past Heir, who was exhiled with his mother more than two decades ago. The prince would return a man-stronger in spirit and body as well as wiser. Eventually, he'd even fall in love with the heir to the nation he conquered himself and have a child with him.
Joonmyeon and Yixing, with months left until their marriage, would be surprised with a child-a son and Heir. They would get married happily and welcome their new family despite the tragedy the boy was born from and thus, a new generation will start to begin.

I pretty much recorded 70% of our history, haha.
I really hoped to be here until the end and it pains me to not be able to see the future of this roleplay...
