About the blood thing

Hola my dudes, on mobile so excuse the basic text!

hi hi! Nice to see you all!
don't take the blood super seriously at the moment because I wrote the thing in less than 2 minutes when people were asking at the beginning of the rp and, like all things that are rushed, they're not particularly well written.

here is a quick update and by update, I mean it's better written because there was some confusion and people thinking that plots were ruined lmao when that isn't the case at all, here's an updated version that hopefully makes more sense!

*while human blood is the best, remember you can make your vampire have their own personal taste. Just like how some people like spicy foods more than others, or sweet tooths, etc. these are just general rule of thumb descriptions.

human blood: self explanatory, full human blood is the best of the best; it restores a vampire to their full strength, is the most delicious food ever, etc. human blood is where it's at but it is forbidden to give human blood to a vampire no matter the circumstances; a human can make the personal choice to feed a vampire but most(like, 99% of the human population) won't because a.) they're already going extinct as a species, b.) as of right now, there's no benefit for the human(I may change this) and c.) who the hell wants to give blood to a scary vampire that will most likely rip their head off once they're done? I certainly wouldn't lol

magician: the most poorly worded section. Ok so. Magician blood was described as being fizzy and like tea/coffee, what I mean by that is that magician blood is so full of magic, that their blood has the consistency of carbonated drinks(think coke, lemonade, etc) and since it's full of magic, it acts like tea/coffee since they have caffeine. Magicians blood is like coffee with the energy boost but with the consistency of coke; the taste can be up to your vampires personal preference, you might like it, you might not. Just be aware that since magician blood is essentially caffeine, caffeine withdrawals are a thing. I hope this makes sense? If not, I'll update this again to make it clearer.

faerie blood: thinks about the sweetest thickshake you've ever had and then make it like 3 times sweeter. Faerie blood isn't for a lot of vampires because too much can make them sick, it's very sugary and light so vampires tend to not feed from the faeries(it also doesn't help that they're small as hell and hard to catch most of the time); the physical effects of faerie blood? I would say a sugar high, you experience a high amount of energy that burns off very fast before followed by feeling burned out since you have nothing to sustain you. There will be some with a major sweet tooth though so you can make your vampire like faerie blood if you like!

werebeast: acid, a standard drink will leave a vampire on the brink of death, if not dead after having their insides burned. It's a natural defense mechanism the beasts have evolved over the centuries due to being a vampires natural enemy.

halfer: whatever your supernatural species is, half it and that's what you get. In the case of magicians, consistency is like flat soft drink/soda, for faeries it's like very sweet chocolate. For werebeasts, still very toxic but at least it won't kill you straight away.

androids: no blood, no heartbeat.

what about other creatures? Well we don't have enough of them yet so I will group them by location/what kind of creature they are.

hellspawn(so demons): demons wouldn't let vampires drink from them unless it was a kink since vampires are an offshoot of their species; but in terms of taste/texture, pleasantly spicy and surprisingly thick like cream.

Water based creatures: oily in consistency. If an ocean creature, your blood will be salty and dehydrating to a vampire, if a fresh water creature then it tastes like nothing(like how water tastes like nothing to us).

heavenly creatures: very similar to hellspawn in that creatures from heaven would not let vampires drink from them but only because they're holy beings and any harm to their body is a big no-no. Also like hellspawn, their blood is thick like cream but rather than spicy, it's just warm, doesn't really tastes like anything in particular though.

fire based creatures: like if you drank the liquid from the fire ramen noodle challenge. This is spicy and hot lol

earth based creatures: not very nice, most vampires would say that blood from earth creatures is almost muddy in consistency and taste, makes them very sleepy as well.

air based creatures: bubbly and light as if you're drinking a whipped liquid. It tastes fairly nice compared to other bloods but is, in all honesty, rather bland compared to some other options.

if you have any questions, comment and I will respond as soon as I can. I have a semi-quiet day today so I can check in every so often.

* this is also poorly written sksksksks because of mobile and I'm rushing again since I have a presentation in like 15 minutes but whatever, I hope it's at least a little bit better!
