Announcement 2!

Good Morning, Afternoon, and Evening to everyone!

Admin Audacity here to share some changes that are going to take place in Council. Though they will not largely affect how the roleplay works, we are simply adding in some more safety nets for you as our fellow rpers.
 

• The first change is to plotting. We ask that you plot out all scenes beforehand. Even a simple "Hey, I know Muse A and Muse B were talking about xyz in the chat, would you like to continue that? Is there a certain direction you wanted it to go?" is enough. We have noticed some issues that have resulted in scenes dropping off because there wasn't enough discussion beforehand, and as a team, we admins want you guys to have fun, not feel put out by something that could have been avoided with a little OOC talk.

• The second change is the use of Profiles. It should just have the same basic stuff that you applied with - Age, Orientation, Specialties or Kinks, the passwords, and we now ask that you have limits added on. You can write them out any way you like, as long as they are there. As a general reminder, there are several basic limits (ia, , Bodily Functions) that you can include, even if your character is good with everything else. By not putting any limits down, you are essentially opening yourself to anything, so please be aware of that.

• The third change is the inclusion of Safewords! In , a safeword is a code word or other physical signal used by a person to communicate when they are approaching, or crossing, a boundary. It is now required of each person to have a safeword in their profile and understand when and how to use it. One of our lovely team has created a shortcut to understanding, which you can find on the front page. This should also be mentioned during your plotting, so your partners know "Muse A said Banana, we need to stop now."

Hopefully, these three things used together will keep a better flow during scenes and general rps, and stop unnecessary IC/OOC worries.

Last rule change will be the addition of PMs to an admin - and there are a lot of us, so choose whoever you like - if and when you choose to leave. For further consideration, letting your partners know you're leaving is good, but not necessary.

I know this was long, but the admin team wants to make sure everyone understands these things so we can have the most fun with the least amount of worries and issues going forward.
