The purpose of this announcement is to detail changes made to the RP as of February 26th, 2022.
First and foremost, the admin team would like to thank you all for joining us in the 4th (or is it the 5th?) resurrection of Helicopter! Admin Soybean is very grateful for those of you who endured the RP's downtime, as well as those that returned or joined for the first time. Gold stars for all of you. ૮₍˶ˊᵕˋ˶₎ა ⭐
We have updated the rules to include more quality-of-life features and encourage activity. Below are all of the changes. Please do read them thoroughly! Entirely new rule changes will utilize bold characters for your convenience. If you have questions or if you'd like to suggest other changes, leave them in the comment section.
01. Reservation time has been cut down from 48hrs to 24hrs.
02. Inactivity has been cut down from 7 days to 5. Those who become inactive will receive a 24hr warning before being removed.
03. Additional characters will be removed immediately when they go inactive. Removed alternates can be requested again after 24hrs.
04. You may have 2 characters from the same group so long as there are 7 or more members.
05. You are now allotted 1 CC per month, per faceclaim. Yes, we are keeping track.
06. Helicopter now has a safeword: MAYDAY. If this word is used in chat, please be respectful and change the subject. If you suspect that someone is abusing the safeword, please PM an admin.
07. Although an age limit was always implied, it never made it to the rules until now (rip). Users and faceclaims must be 18+. That means: born before 2003.
08. There is now a dating ban of 1 week to prevent face chasing/user chasing.
09. Personal rooms will be deemed inactive after 1 week of non-use. Your room will receive a 24hr warning before being removed.
10. This is a gentle reminder to utilize the proper rooms for the content in which you post. We understand that this is a crack RP and a great deal of the things we say in the main chat pertain to our real lives! However, it would be ideal to cut down on OOC conversations in the main chat — specifically rants, potentially triggering topics and topics that can cause general discomfort for everyone else. The admin team will also work to do better in this regard.
