THE B♂YFRIEND FACTORY
Hello everyone, this is admin Yixing speaking. THE B♂YFRIEND FACTORY has been existing for some time now and with all the past announcements and changes within our roleplay system and rpr's layout, I guess it's time for some kind of guidbook or a short summary of the current system. Please read through everything without skipping a part!
#1 GENERAL ROLEPLAY SYSTEM
Humanoids have no saying in who is their owner. Buying a doll is on first come first serve basis here, so whoever posts first in the catalog will get the doll. However, the admins encourage buyers to wallpost the dolls and check if the roleplayer is active or not. Dolls marked as unavailable are the ones officially on hiatus, but some roleplayers forget to tell us or they are on a short hiatus (less than 3 days doesn't necessarily require a hiatus note to the admins).
In case a doll does not reply, buyers can return them to the factory before the contract expires. Please write a new post in the catalog, stating that you are returning the doll due to malfunctions. If the doll really did not reply to you there won't be any charges and you can choose a new doll to rp with instead.
Activated dolls are allowed to roleplay in no more than two rooms at a time because they should be with their owner. However, activated dolls can still roleplay freely on walls until the week is over and you are once again a lifeless machinery.
Contracts expire after seven days at midnight KST.
It is possible to keep a doll for more than one week, three weeks in a row maximum, before you have to return the doll to the factory. Please pay attention to the amount of your points, since the prices for the following weeks are higher.
first week: 350 points
second week: 1050 points
third week: 2800 points.
There are two ways to earn points. One is to roleplay and post a lot in the rooms. The other one is to participate in the daily lottery. Remember to roll twice to participate, one participation per day. Since dolls are in no need of points, please refrain from participating if you're a machine. There are a few more rules, so please make sure to read all of the rules before entering the lottery. Not following the rules there will make you lose 500 points.
Dolls that have been returned to the factory will be reset, so they won't have any memories of their previous owner. If you have bought a doll and another person purchased the same doll before you manage to buy it again, you will have to start from point zero.
It is also possible to own more than one machine at a time. Take note that you can't buy two dolls at a time, but you can buy one and steal as many as you want. A kiss on the lips of a doll will make that doll follow the new person, so buyers are recommended to pay close attention to their dolls.
Since inactivated dolls cannot roleplay, they have the chance to roleplay with a tester or another doll. This is an ongoing event for all the machines and you can apply for it at the factory. As soon as you are bought though, the roleplay event stops for you, but you can always apply for participation in that event the moment you are ownerless again.
#2 REMINDERS
Please remember that this is still a third pov roleplay. While we have been quite nice and lax before, we will be more strict from now on. Just because you got away with writing one-liners doesn't mean you will get away forever. We admins are quite busy so we can't constantly stalk rooms and walls, but if we see posts that don't stick to the 70+ words rule, we will not hesitate to give out warnings. Please follow the rules and don't ignore our warnings or else we might have to remove you from the roleplay.
Also, remember to keep OOC talk in brackets to not confuse anyone.
And this is a rule that applies in pretty much all roleplays here and majority probably knows, but I still want to remind you that if you have to go on hiatus, please let one of the admins know or comment on the roleplay, which is the safest way to inform us.
