Hello role players of the Dome!

This announcement will be brief and contain information about the next Event as well as the one currently running. Due to exams and scheduling we will allow the current Group Event rooms to stay up until January 30th, after that they will be taken down. Event number four will start in February and it will be a 'dice of misfortune' Event. Most of you are familiar with how these events work but for those of you whom have never heard of it before it's basically an event in which rolling the dice will give you a misfortune you have to role play with for a certain amount of time.

Naturally we'll put our on twist on things and tweak in a little bit, but one thing at a time. In hopes of getting more people involved for this Event we'll be doing a bit more research and taking our time signing people up so no one gets stuck with inactive event role players again. The first thing we want to know is how you'd like to see this Event work. Below is a poll with two types of Event styles and how we proceed will be based on what you guys vote on.

CLOSED

Individual Misfortune: Participants will be given individual misfortunes (such as ailments, life crises, loss of limbs etc etc) and be responsible for role playing with the misfortune until the specified date, at which time they will roll the dice again and receive a new misfortune. Misfortunes last until the end of the Event, this is not a permanent character change unless you want it to be.

Widespread Misfortunes: Participants will be given non-personal misfortunes (power outage, attack on the dome, poisoned etc etc) and be responsible for role playing with the misfortune until the specified date, at which time an admin will roll the dice again and add a misfortune to the situation.

*Both types of misfortunes will have a designated Event room(s) and a (very) loosely based prompt. More details on this at a later date, right now we'd like you to focus on whether it's Individual or Widespread. Please vote!
