So I made the mistake of offering to babysit my neighbours kids today

And it made me realize how much I don't want kids

not because her kids were awful

but because it made me realize how much they get into

and how much attention they need

and how little patience i have with people who don't listen the first time

So i give all the credit to those with children who care for them on a daily basis

Because with the little taste of what i had today

I know its not a job i'm ready for

I don't know who was happier to see their mom,

me or them.

Well, of course being a mom is tough. Kids are other humans that need care from a more responsible one that's willing to keep them safe, something they can't do on their own. Any and all mothers, old or young, smart or dumb, are always trying their hardest. *smiles sweetly* You just need to wait until you're out of school and married to a committed man that shares your same values to decided whether or not to have children.
