to clear up any misunderstanding on the term "dating" for those who are a part of celestial spirit.
this has been created so admins at celestial can clearly state what we mean when we say "dating ban" because there seems to be a lot of misconception as to what we mean versus what others think we mean.

First of all, what is the dictionary definition for the term "dating"?
x―"go out with (someone in whom one is romantically or ually interested)."
synonyms: go out with, take out, go around with, go with, be involved with, be romantically linked with, see, court, woo, (informal) go steady with, (informal) step out with, (informal) track square with.
x―another definition of dating is the following:
"dating is a stage of relationships in humans hereby two people meet socially with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as a prospective partner in an intimate relationship or marriage. It is a form or courtship, consisting of social activities done by the couple, either alone or with others."

now that we have established what dating is in a sense, here's the real question that seems to be confusing people: is "dating" the same as "boyfriend"?
x―there is no commitment in dating. the word dating does not mean to have with someone or be their boyfriend/girlfriend.

the line between "dating" and "boyfriend/girlfriend" can sometimes be a grey zone which is something a lot of people don't seem to be understanding. They assume because they are not going "exclusive" as boyfriends, that they are not "dating" but in truth, if people are spending time together with the intention to get to know them more in a romantic sense, then yes - you are in violation of the dating ban at celestial and these actions can be penalised.

Why is there a dating ban?
x―there is a dating ban in place because the core focus of celestial spirit isn't match making, it's creating friendships that last across space and time, as cheesy as that sounds. We don't want people to be joining only wanting to find partners or everyone they can like a frat boy. now, we aren't saying you can't play around and explore that side of things, we only want to keep encouraging inclusivity as we know once people pair off, they tend to forget the people around them.
