So a friend had this idea for a new rp and we want to see if anyone would be interested...
In the old times when the dragon gods still roamed the earth and the dragons were divided under their divine ruling there was peace on this earth. The five gods of wind, earth, flame, water and darkness had been fair and strict on their children ruling with a strong hand and a fair wagering of justice. But now that these gods disappeared there was war a dark everlasting war. Each of these factions was now fighting for the top for the right to rule over the dragons. These are dark times one wrong step might bring you down one right step might just be the secret to domination. Be careful young dragons as you are entering a dark and war ridden world but even in these centuries of sorrow was, they are called there is beauty within hope that maybe it will end or that the dragon gods will have mercy with your pure souls and one day again will return.
Dragons have a humanoid form and it is considered bad manner and is against the law to take on dragon form outside from the battle field or privet accommodations. This law was passed after the war had claimed to many dragons and they were close to extinction hoping that even though they couldn’t come up with a peace treaty they would be able to protect themselves from extinction by passing a rule like this.

Wind dragons:
They are associated with the colour white or sky blue. Beautiful and elegant do they rule over the skies under their dragon god Qinglong, the Azure Dragon. The wind dragons are wingless serpents they have their roots in Chinese folk lore (please keep this in mind when creating a wind dragon character)

Earth dragons:
They are associated with the colours brown and green. Strong and mighty they rule over the mountains. Their dragon god Fafnir was the strongest under the gods he was known for his strict but fair judgment and his love for his followers. The earth dragons are strong dragons with plated skin and big wings they are capable in battle and fast on the ground but because of their imposing mass they tend to be slower and need more energy to fly. They are rooted in the Celtic folk lore (please keep that in mind when creating an earth dragon character) Their domain is the Forever Mountains a range of mountains that splits the lands and stretched far from the sea to the Forests of the west.
Flame dragons:
They are associated with the colours red and yellow. Courageous and adventurous the flame dragons might be the smallest of the dragons but that doesn’t mean on could underestimate them. Ruling over the fire lands of the north they are followers of the dragon god Drakon Kholkikos in the old sagas he was said to roar across the sky like a flame of destiny. Ruling with a soft hand she was fair to those seeking her advice and loved by her followers. They root in Greek folk lore (please keep that in mind when creating a flame dragon character) Their domain are the lands of eternal fire a volcano ridden land in the north though hot and dangerous it has its beauty and appeal to a lot of travellers even now that was is raging through the lands.
Water dragons:
Their colours are dark blue and purple. Loyal and wise their god Dragon Quetzalcoatl was known as the all-knowing the one that leaded you in darkness or in hopelessness and just like him his children are resourceful and loyal. They rule over the city in the dark sea. They root in Aztec folk lore (please keep that in mind when creating a water dragon character) Their domain is the Land in the deep A city under the water as they are water dragons, they can roam on land but need to return to the water regularly.
Darkness Dragons:
Their colours are black and wine red. Their god dragon is Akhekh known as the god of desire and dark hopes she ruled with a strong hand and strict justice. Her followers are known for their cunning and deceitful character. They rule the forever night a land ridden with dark forests and deep caves dark and dangerous but even like this the lands holds a hidden beauty. They root in Egyptian folk lore please keep that in mind when creating a darkness dragon character). Their Domain is the lightless city a beautiful city that can only be seen when the darkness is laying its hand over the land then it shines as bright as any start and as beautiful as the night sky.
