However, this is a post to inform everyone that I rp with SORRY. I am going to be a tad slower than usual (if i wasn't already slow enough fcking kill me LOL).
I am currently trying to figure out my options for returning to college whilst dying from working full-time at the hospital. (People fcking I swear to god. I do not get paid enough for this bull and the Hospital acting like they didn't make enough money over the amount of COVID patients they treated LOL. Mind you, it is a big-name hospital :'D)
My mother, after seeing a friend graduated with my desired major, has decided that it is a good idea for me to pursue it (as if she didn't poopoo that idea and make me feel stupid for thinking of it six years ago LOL). Anywho, I am in the process of figuring out what the best colleges for Korean Studies there are.
Currently, I have a few in mind:
University of Hawaii: Manoa Campus (it has a Korean Language as a professional program that I am extremely interested in)
Binghamton University (Focuses on both Korean language and culture. Is possibly the most affordable option for me and closest to home)
University of Irvine (Their Korean Studies program is newer, however, the campus seems pleasant. It is also an area that I semi-know)
University of Southern California - Definitely the hardest to get into (they require multiple written responses for consideration and honestly I am scared :D My academic writing has the moment that I left high-school, I feel). They do not have specifically Korean Studies, but East Asian Studies with a Korean focus (which is nice, because I can choose to take courses on Chinese or Japanese history with it being credited to my major!)
Anyways, as you can see, I am currently trying to do a lot of research on these schools, thus my attention is to that atm. Though, in the next day or two, I will be finished looking things over and applying (let's hope that with my being a child of a disabled veteran, my application fees will be waived cuz like that's 200 in apps and like LOL no pls my money I want to keep it for your ridiculous tuition fees).
THUS I WILL NOT BE ON HIATUS JUST KNOW I AM ALIVE.
