It opens up with a basic description, then it quickly becomes narrative to describe how he came across his equipment. It will make sense... Hopefully... Anyway, if you message me, let me know where you found my user info thing or I'll likely expect you to be a spammer who found my username elsewhere... e_e And if I make that assumption I may just block you outright. I'm not against magic at all, it's just that it doesn't exist in my character's universe, so yeah.
