hi all! just a very brief blog, i am currently roleplaying as a muse who doesn't have many good quality icons on tumblr, so i was thinking of just making my own. the only device i have to work on is my macbook so i wanted to know what are some easy to use but good quality photo editing apps or programs? i won't be doing much other than resize/crop the image to an icon and just apply a subtle but nice filter that will give me a clean and um more professional(?) finish if that makes sense? any help or suggestion is highly appreciated, so tysm in advance!

Lightroom. It’s basically Photoshop’s sister but free and easy to navigate. Many professional photographs use this as well. You can get it on your phone as an app too.

https://pixlr.com/e/ is amazing! it has a lot of different photo filter settings and has a lot of the same functionalities as photoshop except it's free and online. i'm a designer irl and i use pixlr during my free time to edit icons and graphics since it's so easy lol. there's also https://pixlr.com/x/ if you're wanting something a bit simpler

You can try Canva! It's a website and an app too :D I usually do posters, collages, etc. on there
