The sun and the moon has given birth to many souls. Each of their respective realms host a power. Each of the unique to the individual.

It's a common love story between the realms. THose of the sun and moon forbidden to cross over and mingle with the other side. Of course because of the harm that can happen if either were to physically touch but also because of the tormenting history of the 2 realms.

Of course between the 2 sits a counsel of neutrals. 10 members who have no powers, born neither of the sun nor the moon. somehow these 10 managed to stack themselves at the top of the food chain to govern the 2 realms.

legend has it there is actually a gauntlet of rosse petals soaked in a thick syrup on an obscure beach. if 2 lovers were to eat the petals from within the cup, they'd be free. Free of their powers, free of the boundaries holding them back. free of the counsel's rules.

it's quite funny really...no one has seemed to find that cup and yet there's always an abundance of love...

In a world where young men and women of age enter into society to find a mate. [of course for legal reason, we'll state now that the legal age internationally is 18 years old.]

these young men and women gather at parties to showcase their talents, discuss their hopes and dreams of the future, and connect all in the hopes of finding that special someone to continue the conversation with after the season.

and what's a society without the gossip rag? someone just nosy yet clever enough to both challenge and entertain us all with their wits and charms in writing. a society with it's dark corners and ranking clases. although this society doesn't have a queen, there is still a monarch of sorts declaring the season's daimond and most eligable bachelor- perhaps society will elect a queen and king? perhaps they'll take the daimond casting into their own hands?. it's always a surprise and a thrill to bare witness and even participate in these sorts of things.
