Once upon a time life on the Continent named Eos was flourishing.

That was until "they" appeared.

"They" were called many names, Demon, Boogeymen, Bloodsuckers, shadows but the most common was: Vampire.

However they themselves called their Kind Lamia. Those Lamia took over the whole continent.

Kingdoms were run over and destroyed. While Humans were hunted and enslaved, Faekind was almost hunted to extinction because no Vampire could resist the call of their blood.

The Winter Court was the last Kingdom still being free and Winter Queen Maeve did everything to protect her people. The Queen traveled to Verona City to form a peace treaty with the old Vampire King who seemed to be the most reasonable. In order to keep peace she proposed that their firstborn children will marry each other to unify their Kingdoms without more wasted bloodshed. 

On the other side Titania, younger twin sister of the Queen saw her chance to ascend the throne, which she always wanted but couldn't because she was born mere minutes after her sister.

The fae of Illusion and Roses webbed lies to make it seem like Queen Maeve was abandoning Faekind. Titania crowned herself as the new Queen Regent and married the fated mate of the fallen Queen before she pulled up a ward.

Hiding her Kingdom from everyones eyes whom doesn't possess Faeblood. Now it was Queen Titania ruling over her own Court of Roses with an iron fist while on the other side of the Wall an Empire of Vampires flourished.
