If you're one of the Crazed, you caught the virus after it mutated, and it went straight for your brain, attacking your frontal lobe and gradually taking away your humanity. Lucky for you, there is a scale of how Crazed you might be. Some still have most of their humanity, but they face a constant battle against their instincts to control their instincts. Every day is a battle for these people, but it gives them some semblance of control and gives them a chance at remaining mostly human.
From there, it just gets worse. It gets harder and harder for people to control it, and it keeps going until you reach the worst of the Crazed. These people can barely be called human. The virus destroyed enough of their brain to leave them unable to speak, unable to make decisions, and unable to do anything but follow their base instincts and act on impulse. These Crazed are the most dangerous and unpredictable, and if you see one, it's best to run the opposite direction as fast as you can!
If you wish to play a Crazed, it's advised to play one that still has a good amount of their humanity left. They will have to fight very strong urges, and may not succeed in fighting those urges all of the time.
