I'm going to bleach my hair so I can dye it pink and purple, but I dyed my hair with henna in like December. At the time I decided to do this I didn't know that henna can react badly with bleach. It can catch on fire, fall out (but bleach can do that normally), or just turn out fried.
I'm going to use the shampoo method where you use half the amount of bleach and you mix it with shampoo.
Pray that I don't catch on fire.
Maybe I should test this on a strand first.....
Update: It worked! My hair is now blonde in some spots, but where the henna was it turned fire engine red....
