I don't understand human beings... please help me?

So yeah, I just watched this documentary about orcas and seriously aside from the fact how they are treating them in captivity today and all... I am wondering about how they even got the idea in 1970 to just take them... Like there this little human around 70 kilos and there is this orca weighing more than tons swimming in the ocean totally happy and content with his family and all and the little human is like, yeeees let's get this big thing on my truck take him to the pool and let him do tricks for me and everyone else to see... Like how the hell do you even get this idea? This is like the most inhuman idea I've ever thought about... I didn't even know that there were this kind of parks in america because I have never seen something like this in my country... So it was actually even more shocking to me after I watched this video.. Not that we don't have dolphine shows here... But orcas, seriously? What is wrong with humans?

Yep, I don't understand humans and I am one myself.... and then they expect the trainers to understand orcas.. in your dreams.

you are watching Black Fish, is it? I agree with you. Orcas should not be kept in captivity. They are not an animal who can be tamed. They need space. Furthermore, they live in their own packs, so separating them won't be a good thing. Orcas don't usually attack human, but there are lots of attack cases happens in the aquarium where the orcas were kept. They became wild, and even more aggressive when they are kept in captivity. I wonder how human can be so cruel at times??

And it's really sad because some of the orcas' health declines and they literally become a depressed lump floating in the water (esp. when a baby is taken away to go to another park).
Their fins even flop and that's not supposed to happen. Some of the orcas have even been known to kill humans and whatnot... It's horrible. I hate that so much. It's disgusting. I watched a documentary about that too. I was so disgusted.
How dare they?
