What kind of roleplays would you guys like to see on RoleplayRepublic?

Tell me. I honestly want to know. Especially since there is an overflow of romance, school, and roleplays. This can't be all that this community is interested in, can it? I mean, do we honestly need our characters to be in relationships 24/7 or the majority of our time with them? Can we go without putting them in entertainment companies or schools? Is it necessary to make them it up all day and night? Are these things really so important? I know there has to be more to what we're putting out in roleplays than just these things, and I know we have enough creativity as a whole to develop more interesting and well-thought-out roleplays.

Even though I'm not sure, I know I must not be the only one here who's fed up with seeing the same type of roleplays on this site. I'm at the point where I can hardly stand seeing them anymore because they're practically everywhere, and I'm almost desperate for some variety. So, what kind of roleplays would you guys (the community) be interested in partaking in or creating? I'll even help you out with creating it and sorting out your ideas if you need me to. Just bring something awesome to the table.

P. S. If anyone out there is reading this message and willing to answer my question, please help me out. I ask you to not just click in and click out. Please, take me seriously.

The type of roleplays I would like to see on the site, in all honesty, don't have enough 'good' roleplayers to pull them off. Rather than being specific I'd like to see roleplays that have absolutely nothing to do with Kpop, that would be your non-au, and allows me to create my character's own traits without people presuming what they're like. Classic example would be EXO, in where people roleplaying them would always include a 'kaebbsong' or a 'yehet' here and there. Like stop it.

For instance, a while back ago I opened a roleplay heavily inspired by Reply 1997 where the characters all attended highschool together and they just so happen to 'meet up' a few years into the future after graduation, ultimately getting rid off the little awkward introductions because they'd already know each other, allowing chance for awesome plotting. That roleplay died within a few weeks :o

I've always wanted to be a secret-agent themed roleplay where characters are paired up with each other to execute missions. See, I don't mind characters being paired up with each other but I dislike it when they're expected to fall in love on the spot.

Although with non-au roleplays, I'd like to see where roleplayers actually act like idols in where they don't always go out to drink bubble tea or something so fluff-orientated. Performing at music shows, intense dance practice, and variety shows. Where there are actual roleplayers who assume the role of managers, reporters, and rabid fangirls. I only see that happen in roleplays where they create their own entertainment company and all.

To be honest, I think this site's seen enough of the following: match-making, fluff, hospital, high school themed, the generic supernatural kind with werewolves and vampires and all, forced/arranged marriage, and most importantly, basic non-au roleplays with practically no other theme going on than idoling around or whatever.

Ew school rps are no. I guess just anything that's not common with a million of the same exact thing.
Ooo ooo rps with themes from movies/books are cool~ Or animes too. But no more attack on titan ones... Too many of those for some reason.

I'm not 'fed up' perse seeing these type of themes on here since I like my as well (ewe) but it would be nice to see more themes like Attack on Titan or even more Harry Potter like stuff on here ^^ Highschool rps are fun but they feel repeative after joining a lot of them...I like themes that're creative and unique.

I would like to see during themed/au rps XP
Currently, the only rps that I actively participate in our the Harry Potter au and scandal XP

Tbh, I want to see... different spinoff or themed rps that are based of different books/novels ^_^ just to have the experience of being a character of thar novel (ie hunger games, divergent, maximum ride etc)

But I have to totally agree with you, the number of , fluff, high school, and romance is getting quite excessive... ewww (oh and only EXO as well)
