This is a new roleplay that I am working on. I am currently trying to decide whether or not I actually want to open it up or not. So, in order to tell, I'm allowing people to reserve characters now and ask me questions about the roleplay. It's still in the works, so mind you it is not perfect, but I'm looking for people that want to at least try it and make things work with me. If I can get maybe ten roleplayers in all or more, I'll even open it early. I need it to be balanced though with enough Merchandise and enough VIPs (which will make more sense when you read it), so at least five each? I'm really super excited about this because I really like the idea! I'd also really appreciate it if you all would give me feedback, even if you don't want to join or if you're thinking about it and have something you'd like to suggest. VIP: Either it's your first time here or you're a returning guest. Either way, you know the number one rule: No one finds out about the auction. Dirty stuff goes on here. Not that you care. It's all in fun anyway. While there's a party upstairs in the in the hotel ballroom full of celebrities of all kinds of professions, you've gotten the invitation. Well, more accurately you've gotten the password to the exclusive black market auction down below. That's right. Black Market. Take the cage elevator down to get the rarest of goodies without any trouble. You don’t need to worry if they’re illegal or not. You paid fair and square for your items. But there’s a buzz going on in the underground. There’s a new segment to the auction: Humans. They weren’t allowed to be sold before. It used to be nothing but collectibles, like writings, artwork, jewels, etc. Never living things. These humans are each there for their own reasons. Not that you care. You just know that if you win one of the humans during the auction, you’re free to do with them as you please. So, will you be taking home the human in the giant bird cage on the stage or will someone outbid you?
Merchandise: Kidnapped. That may not be the most accurate term for your circumstances, but you’re still most likely here against your will. You’ve done something wrong. Maybe you accidentally broke someone’s priceless vase or statue or damaged their million dollar vehicle. Maybe someone thought you were cute enough to get them a profit. No matter how you look at it, you’re in a bird cage to pay a debt (or for someone to make enough money to pay off their own debt). You don’t get a say in who buys you or what they choose to do with you. Your fate is sealed from this point on. Let’s just hope you get someone decent or classy, because not everyone rich or famous is always as they appear to be. What will you make of your life from here on out?
