Wanting to claim the newborn baby as his own, muse A make a promise with muse B’s mother to keep her child save as long as the child become his mate. Muse B’s mother agrees but under one condition: they have to stay away from each other until muse B turns 18. Muse A has no other choice but to keep his promise to muse B’s mother. Muse A keeps his distance from muse B, even when muse B is struggling to keep himself alive.

That's how muse A and muse B met. Muse A proposes muse B to enter a fake engagement with him. That way muse B will be able to save his face in front of his ex by appearing completely over him, while muse A will be able to end his family's desire for him to get married by presenting them a completely unsuitable bride.

One day, while Muse A is on his way home, he comes across Muse B, who is a hybrid, lying in the middle of the road and appears hurt. Having a soft spot for suffering creatures, Muse A carries Muse B back to his cheap apartment with the good intention of nursing the poor hybrid back to health. However, muse B doesn’t like being taken care of, especially by humans like muse A. He hisses/growls when muse A tries to come closer to him and scratches muse A when he tries to pat him. It takes a while for muse B to warm up to muse A, but he eventually did.
