Just a blur of a lightstick ft. Chen

This is a repost of something I posted just over a month ago in a private community, but as its kpop related and I always want people's reactions to things I write and discover--here it is.
Note: The episode in reference is the Infinite Challenge Special with EXO where Yoo Jaesuk collaborated with EXO to perform Dancing King.

I suddenly felt really sad and got teary eyed watching Infinite Challenge. The episode itself was very funny and awe-inspiring. But one small comment said by Chen as he was trying to incourage and relax Jaesuk [right before he goes on stage with them]... I felt sad.
Now in reality, logically, I knew this was probably the case--of whut he said. But to hear him actually say it... broke my heart..
Idk if you've seen it, but theres a meme/sad picture thing that shows in eye of the fan in a concert all they see is the singer. And all the singer sees is a giant crowd or whutever.... well his comment kinda related to this.

Basically he said "--because all you can see are glow sticks, you wont feel as nervous"
Now he said alot of good advice to Jaesuke; some made him feel more pressured and others to help cool him off.
But I just T^T ... knowing how people these days can take and twist words and make people seem bad... he shouldn't have worded it that way. Not that I'm mad at him or critisizing him. But as a fan I was, admittedly, a bit hurt by the comment ;A; I myself having once been to kcon a few years ago.

I've grown up on stages because I started ballet and music really young, and picked up an interested in theatre later on. When you're under stage lights, you're lucky if you can see any further than the first two rows of the audience.

I am actually glad he was honest with it. It makes him more human and less of an object which the fandom is seeing them as.
And any normal human being knows that if you are standing on a stage and it is dark enough for glowssticks to have a point, they can't see the public in general.
