Born and raised in South Korea on February 9, 1996 by the name of Kim Chanmi. Later moved to Dallas, Texas, living there for about 7-8 years. Went by the name "Annie" in America. Learned dance at "I Love NY", specializing in waack and hip hop.
Became a trainee at JYP, after winning 3rd place at JYP 9th audition. Left JYP in 2015 to M&H Entertainment.
Changed name to Annie Chungha Kim. Joined the hit reality tv show "Produce 101" resulting as the 4th most voted trainee, landing a spot in YMC Entertainment's temporary girl group "I.O.I", that is set to disband as of January 2017.
Chungha knows she isn't just one of the pretty faces. She isn't just a pretty face for the group to work around. She has a beatiful face with jaw-dropping talent, and she knows it. She is the next generation's dancing queen, Kim Chungha.
New challenges are the things that keeps Chungha alive. Whatever you say she can't do, she will do it. Never tell her she can't do something. She always will. You're probably thinking "This daring girl should be dead by now right?"
Although it may not seem like it Chungha is very empathetic when things get serious. She likes to put herself in others' postitions before criticizing. She knows how to understand people. Her sarcasm is taken funny but sometimes she ends up hurting others' feelings without even knowing it.
Chungha isn't afraid to speak her mind. She knows how to show empathy but sometimes she pulls things together when she has to. She hurts someone's feelings when she has to. It's always better to say the ugly truth now than letting someone publicly humiliate themselves.
She's fierce, feisty, and sassy. She won't hold back. She has to have what she wants.
Chungha is very moody. She can be happy and smiling but angry or sad the next minute. The way she acts is really unpredictable.
