Description
seven yeas old, Hong-Do had oddly been working longer and longer in the office. Though, Nari had not noticed it at first she began to wonder what her fiance was up to. As time passed Hong-Do was gone much more, rarely coming home at all, this began to raise a sort of curiosity in Nari. Where had her future husband been going? What had he been doing at that very moment? Deciding to see what all of this was about she gathered up her son and went to Hong-Do's office. Instead of knocking, Nari had bolted through the door, wanting to catch her fiance in action. As fate played it's dark card, both Nari and seven-year-old Soohyuk saw Hong-Do ing another man on his desk. Nari was enraged and shocked to see her supposed significant other pleasuing someone else,a man no less.

After that indicdent Soohyuk had never seen his father again, his mother had often spoke in a way that mad her seem like a murderer. Did she kill him? Was she actually a murder this whole time? Or did she just leave him, telling him to never come back. Maybe he only came back for his things, but that wasn't true...Soohyuk's mother only threw his things into garbage bags and placed them with ll the other bags of trash. Soohyuk was too frightened to ask whether or not his father was killed or just forced to leave.

A couple months after Soohyuk's faher's disappearence Nari began to drink heavier and heavier amounts of alcohol. Either coming home drunk or buying a cart full of alcohol. There wasn't a day she didn't have alcohol, she even used alcohol to help rid of her hangovers. Soohyuk did remember cleaning up a lot of her meses as she did not make it to the bathroom quite fas enough. It was heart breaking to see his mother this broken up, this depressed about losing her now ex-boyfriend. Soohyuk began to wonder if he could somehow help make her less dependent on alcohol. As she did try to get men to have a date with his mother many of them never showed up. Furthering his mother into her depressing lcoholic addiction.

Soohyuk was soon subjected to physical and emotional abuse because of this addiction. Often hit with a beer bottle or some other oject that was thrown in his direction. The emotional abuse did start before the phsyical. Nari would call her son unforgivable names and make him fel like complete . When Nari was showing up to work drunk out of her mind or hungover she was soon asked to quit. She was in despare over losing her job. Emotional abuse didn't seem to be enough for her son so Nari decided to try phsyical. Often times punching, kicking, still throwing obects, shoving him into various things. Another time she locked him out of the house until she got a hangover and forgot about locking him out. Because his mother was alcohol addicted and couldn't keep a boyfriend for a very long she substituted her seven-teen-year-old son for ual desires. Often she snuck into his room and began to feel up his adolescent body, motherly hands caressing maturing parts of Soohyuk that should never be fondled by a mother's touch. As many imes as he begged her to stop, she wouldn't. She told him it was his own fault because he looked nearly indenticle to his father.

Soohyuk did have enough and didh happen to push her off of him successfully a few times, not liking her abusing him in so many ways. Though, Nari did come up with a few ways to prevent her son from pushing her away.

Because of his mother's addiction and multiple ways of abuse toward Soohyuk he had spoken with the school counselor about good things to try out for. Just to get out of the house as much as possible. The counselor constanly tried to talk to Soohyuk about the things hppening at home but the young man refused to speak of anything. Often times he would explain that things were fine he just wanted to make a good college resume and make sure he got in. As much as the counselor was hoping to hear about the things happening at home he brushed it off and decided to sggest various sports, music, possible clubs to join, and drama. Soohyuk tried out for many things and entered a few clubs, drama was something he favored and dropped only a couple things for it. The more he acted the more he found himself enjoying it, the more he wanted to be a part of it. He liked being someone who wasn't himself, someone who didn't have to deal with the various events that had taken place in his lfie.

Finally, when Soohyuk graduated he had immediately packed his things and headed out for Solace University. Getting way from his old life to start a new one was the only thing he wanted. He wantd to rid of all the memories of his past life and become a whole new person. A person who didn't lose his father, or was emotionally, physically, or even ually abused; especially, by his mother. Soohyuk decided to major in drama because of the thrilling stoiries that were shapred in the plays and various other scripts created. He liked it so much he wanted to become popular enough to go on stages such as broadway.

Along with college Soohyuk got a job at a bar (Mickey's Bar), because he was nineteen before school let out the owner allowed him to clean as well as perform. He wasn't allowed to do anything more until he was twenty-one. When he did become twent-one Soohyuk stepped up to bartender and began to learn how to mix drinks. Despite his mother being alcoholic, he had not mind being in the bar because his mother only drank at home. In the dorms students weren't supposed to have such posion. Soohyuk would be lying he had said he never tried it a couple times. Sneaking a few drinks every time he got off his shift, sometimes it helped calm his over working mind down.

He was moved up to bartender that hadn't meant Soohyuk stopped performing, he was still the star performer at Mickey's Bar. Because of his height a drunk man once shouted, 'Hey, Daddy long legs, how about you get off the stage and do a play of you stripping your clothes off in my room'. This nickname seemed to stick with Soohyuk's co-workers and they oftened used it to tease the six foot tall man. The nickname did cause Soo to get flustered from time to time but it eventually, grew on him and he decided to use it when it was most convenient.

personality )

Because Soohyuk had been invested in drama for a few years he had been good at masking his emotions. Often, he masks how he actually feels because he dislikes others feeling bad for him. The real Soohyuk is mostly quiet, he prefers to observe over speaking, he anaylizes the things put before him before deciding to form an opinion. He is always mature and never late for anything on purpose. A smile does appear from time to time, especially, when he is on stage. Soohyuk has always been one to prefer fictional life over real life given his horrid childhood.

001. I like both point of views, and I'm open to doing either. I just want to make it clear that I will not accept a one-liner in 3rd nor 1st pov. 002. I prefer plotting over winging, with winging I'm never sure where the plot should go or how I should really respond to keep things going. I do like the surprise of not planning everything out. 003. God-modding is strictly forbidden, I will warn you if you God-mod my character. I will begin to ignore your posts if you continue to God-mod my character. 004. If there is a plot I have created and you're interested in it, istg, just ask me for it and I'll give you my blessing (maybe). 005. Do not face chase my character, please. 006. I do not like ooc confrontation, it's kind of annoying and honestly, kind of stupid considering this is a place to have fun. 007. I do not like the type of angst that makes your heart strings break. Tbh. I dislike it. I am willing to plot a lighter type of angst but nothing that makes me want to rip my heart out. ;u; #sorrynotsorry. 008. I don't want to plan out romance, I like to keep it all natural. 009. is cool but let's not plan it all the time, it's cool to have friends and not want their / s. 010. I will keep a tracker of those of you who would like to rp, so no need for poking, I swear, I will get to you! 011. I may add more to this as time goes by, but I'm unsure. I'm actually pretty laidback!
