// Biography

If you asked people what they know about the infamous Momo, they'd tell you that she was the student council VP and a excelling honor roll student. Nobody really knows much about her, except for the fact that she came from some small town on the outskirts of Seoul and got in with special admissions. She's also often dubbed as "Modusa" – a play on her name and that of Medusa, for her strict and stoic ways as student council VP, because she believed she had more responsibility than the president to keep the campus orderly and she never hesitated to scold people for their mistakes and wrongdoings.

In reality, simply stated, Modusa is a façade.

Her name is Momo Hirai, and she was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan to a middle-class family. She grew up as a middle child, between an older brother and a younger sister, and she was often ignored because she was neither the oldest or the youngest, nor was she a boy. When she was ten years old, her father used all the money they had possession of so he could start his own business. Needless to say, it was a failure– but her father didn't give up. He tried again and again, borrowing money from here, borrowing money from there, but his efforts were futile as that only led the Hirai family into bankruptcy by the time Momo was thirteen. Bankruptcy wasn't that big of an issue for them until her mother had searched through their father's things and saw a document that was related to loansharks, so she did the first thing that came to mind: she took her daughters and ran. But what about her son, Momo's sixteen year-old brother? Her mother had left her father and brother behind (ouch!) and fled to a small city in the outskirts of Seoul.

Momo's life in Icheon, South Korea was a bit hectic. She was in high school but she was also a private tutor for the neighborhood's rich kids because she had to help her poor mother out somehow. With a younger sister who had eczema and food allergies, life wasn't a piece of pie when it came down to rent, living expenses, and hospital bills. Not to mention the fact that Momo had never stopped trying to contact her older brother, but her efforts were pointless as they had disappeared off the grid without a trace. Phone numbers gone, the house empty and said to have been lit in a fire. Though her heart broke for her missing family, she knew she couldn't give up hope because hopefully, maybe in another reality, they were still alive and healthy, just hiding from the notorious loansharks that she fled from as well.

Flash forward four years later: seventeen year-old Momo is heading home very late, a little past 2am from a tutoring session when she hears a blood-curling scream. She knows she shouldn't have followed the horrid noise but she was idiotic and she did. She stumbled right across her best friend, getting choked as a tall, male silhouette hovered over her and she had let out a small gasp. The fingers around her best friend's neck uncurl as her best friend's chest stops in motion. She's gone. She's dead. He killed her. He killed her best friend. And he looks straight up at Momo, a side of his mouth curved upwards into a smirk. He asked if she liked what she saw and Momo is about to have a breakdown. She's trapped but she knows that if she does make a scene, she'll be next. Keep quiet about this ordeal, he says. Momo can only gulp as he continues and he talks about how he'll offer her money and riches. He says he'll get her a chance in Seoul and pay for her sister's hospital bills and make it so her mother doesn't have to work a day in her life again. This time, Momo's mouth moves on its own as it mouths a silent yes and he cackles, asking for her name before he leaves and turns the corner and she runs.

Two days later, a letter from Solace University in Seoul arrives and it claims to want to offer Momo a full scholarship. In the mail there's also a gold credit card and when Momo goes to check it out at the small bank in town, she's appalled. There are so many zeros following the one in the front and she can't believe the man wasn't joking. Her mother would never have to work again. They could start anew.

Momo packs up at once and leaves to Seoul on a midnight train with her mom and sister. She never turns back again.

Where Were You? | M, 22+ | Taken by Mingyu ( 1/1 )
Genre:
siblings, drama, angst, possible fluff.
Momo's never given up the hope that her brother was out there, but it's been a long six years with no news. Any possible trace leading to you and Dad has been wiped off, so how would I expect to bump into you in Seoul? Where were you two? Do you know how worried we all were?

Private Sessions | M/F| Taken by Taehyung, Hailee, & Name. (2/3)
Genre:
friendship, comedy, possible romance, possible fluff.
I had spare time on my hands and you had failing grades. As the Student Council VP, how could I refuse when you had personally came to me and asked me to tutor you? We meet two days a week, and the longer we spend time together, the more we've bonded. Rather than tutoring, we exhange information and give each other advice. This isn't tutoring anymore, it's friendship.

Pyramid | M/F| Taken by Jinah, Dahye, and Nara (3/3)
Genre:
rivalry, drama, angst.
It isn't easy to get up to the position of Student Council VP. It isn't the nicest route either, and we both have personal experiences from it. We used to be close, but I'm sorry I had to step over you to get my way. I hope you'll find it in your heart to understand why I did it.

Inner Demons | M | Taken by Kim Jongin ( 1/1 )
Genre:
angst, drama, fluff, possible romance.
You're the boyfriend of my dead best friend. People used to think it would be you and I, not you and her, so it makes sense that you resent me for her death. I had been out late too, so why did your girlfriend die? But I had always had feelings for you, buried and kept secret for both of our sakes. But it's been two years and it's hard to keep away when we're set up in a blind date. I know you feel the same as me, but I also understand the guilt that's gnawing away at you.

Useful | M | Taken by Haruma (1/1)
Genre:
friendship, fluff, comedy, possible romance.
You're from a whole different crowd than I am. You don't necessarily have the looks, the connections, the status, or the money. You don't have anything, so why am I still eager to hang around you? You're practically useless. But then again... you'd battle a rainstorm to head over when I ask you to. You always put me first. You always cheer me up... so I guess, you're a bit useful. Just a tiny bit.

Blossomed | M, teacher| ( 0/1 )
Genre:
angst, drama, fluff.
I had moved away from that small town years ago, leaving you without a word after you had kissed me one day abruptly after school. We were children and had been each other's first love. Who would've thought I would stumble across you in Seoul, especially as your student?

+ i do dual pov's, but i lack quite a bit in first person and eventually end up making first person seem like third person, apologies for that. i just feel like third gives you more room for details, although i can't really shakespeare lmao. the semester starts soon so i'll probably be a bit occupied, hence why i'm semihiatus. replies will generally be done as fast as i can, but they may be slow so i'd appreciate it if you wouldn't poke quite often. other than that, i'm totally open for anything so please feel free to message me on walls and we can create a plot asap! c:
