doubted to be an actual god, by the fact his mother was a mortal and his father a god. a halfling? though his mother could not live to see her son growing up, as she passed away upon the sight of zeus coming to her. to save this infant life, zeus took matter into his own hands and sewed the little body of dionysus into his thigh. months later, the fully grown baby was set to earth on mountain pramnos, ikaria.
When he grew up, he discovered the culture of the vine and the mode of exctracting its juice. being the first, but hera chased him away, leaving him to wander over the earth. he has done many expiditions, teaching people the art of extracting the vine.
dionysus was a very attractive man, mortals confusing him for a prince. even attempting to kidnap him and sell him off for slavery. but it was useless, dionysus morphed into a great lion and slayed the ones who dared to prance upon his path.
now, in current time. dionysus still wanders the earth, but not to teach people how to extract the vine.. but to let his voice be heard. a contemporary performer, wanders from festival to festival, cladded in his usual white tee and skinny jeans.
