jongsuk didn't have the best childhood, his mother passed away in a car accident only a year after his father left them. the only part about it that wasn't so bad was the fact that jongsuk was sent overseas to live with his aunt, he grew up in US, receiving all the love he needed but due the small trauma he had when he was only seven - which made it impossible for him to forget about it - he never managed to open up to people, that got him only a few friends and so he decided to go back to korea when he finally graduated business college, he always loved the smell of coffee because it reminded him of his mother and surprisingly there was no cafe's in his neighborhood, leading him to where he is now. the cafe opened about three years ago called hani's heaven, his mother's name. nowadays jongsuk smiles a lot more, but he still keeps his background safe, for himself only, not wanting others to know his only weak spot.

 

personality

even though jongsuk has a hard time opening up to people, he learnt to smile everyday and being a cafe owner also got him better at socializing and talking to others, he is a complete normal man on the outside, keeping his history safe to himself on the inside. now he manages to show to people a bright and cheerful side, even though sometimes he is still hurting he is always smiling. knowing that words can hurt, he always tries his best to be as kind as his mother was, knowing that even if he was having a bad day, like that other people wouldn't, because to jongsuk the smallest kind gestures were enough to make someone's life better. he's the type who usually likes to be at home at friday nights, choosing his comfy couch and a good movie instead of a crowded club, sometimes, when he feels comfortable enough around someone, that might change though and he'll be willing to step out of his comfort zone - but so far, that never happened.
