about Kris
Kris, as he prefers to be called, became a pirate captain at age eighteen, having been the only remaining crew after a Spanish ship raided the one he sailed on. After sailing for three days with short provisions, he made it to the mainland and recovered his health while rebuilding /his/ new ship. After months, the weather got hot and men got restless, and Kris found himself with an eager crew. The first twenty men were washed-out, and attempted to take his ship for their own. Fortunately for him, his life was the sea since his eighth birthday when he was sold to sailors, then kidnapped by pirates. His second crew of twenty reveled in his lenient but wise leadership over them. He docks every other month to sell, to buy, to repair and to recruit. Most fear him from his rugged looks, but once he cleans up, he finds even nobility at his elbow.
Kris is like...
Kris would describe himself as quiet and cold, usually not one to initiate a conversation while on his ship or before cleaning himself up. He is not cruel, however, and has morals. Stealing from other pirates is okay-- pillaging, , kidnapping and the likes are not acceptable. He is fun-loving, and his crew would agree. He is only a pirate for the gold, and because it's all he knows. When he is on land, he is respectful to the locals.
