Cash is king... and

Lee Taemin, a 24 year old photographer, uninterested in anything but capturing stunning frames - of people. A bit of a wild card... No one knows what side he's on. He doesn't work for people; he works for art, and money. He's an indoor type of person. Most of the time, he's quiet, halfway between shy and aloof. It's not because of any self esteem issues; he knows how physically perfect he is - and may just lean on the side of narcissistic. It's just a matter of keeping his cards close. One of his deepest insecurities is that he seems unable to form romantic attachments. He's been in long term relationships, but never a serious relationship. You could say it's a fear of commitment, or that he's never found what really captured his heart, other than photography. His old partners left him, disbelieving that he could be so unattached after months or years of being together, and he was maybe sad about it for a few days. After that phase, he stuck to quick hookups or one-time dates. Perhaps it was his unsatisfying childhood that suggested to him that all relationships inevitably result in inescapable discontent? Still, that doesn't stop him from wishing, deep down, that he could be proven wrong.

Plot Ideas

You mistake Taemin as the interviewee rather than the photographer, and assuming he's a celebrity, you act very strange... Later you learn that he's a coworker, and everything is kind of awkward.

 

Taemin shows up earlier than the writer for the big interview, setting up his equipment with the rest of the crew. You want to look perfect, so you must, of course, tell him ALL your best angles and lighting requests. Taemin is not amused, but also maybe slightly amused.
