Sleeping beauty. Ever since he was a young child, about four or five years old, Jangjun has been prone to random bouts of sleepiness. He'd often doze off in the middle of a lecture from his mother, or straight up conk out when walking home. Eventually, his parents took him to the doctor only to find out Jangjun had narcolepsy. As they were a poor family they couldn't afford the treatment that would help Jangjun, and it's not like they would have bought it anyways, considering they abandoned the boy just a week after the visit. On his own Jangjun survived for the next couple of years (between the ages of 8 and 13) going from door to door, accepting hand outs and never stealing. Oftentimes he was even too tired to scavenge for food, in which case he almost starved to death once or twice. Jangjun definitely would not have survived if he wasn't found by a loving pair of veterinarians, who took in the young kitten and brought him back to health. Still not able to afford the medicine for his condition, nor work because of it, Jangjun has been placed in the care of the adoption center. Someday he hopes to finally be fully awake and alert, if only because he doesn't want to be a burden.
