After graduating from high school, Woolim had not a clue to what she wanted to pursue in her life.
She got interested in dancing and singing but her parents dissuaded her not to seek entertainment.
She gained interest in teaching, but her parents discouraged her once again.
She was worried she would be stuck at home, living with her parents for the rest of her life--
which isn't bad, it sounds pretty sweet--but Woolim was seeking a life filled with adventure.
As much as she'd love to be in the comfort of her mother and father, Woolim wanted to explore!
She talked with her parents, explaining her wish to be independent to find her true calling.
They argued a lot, but they finally decided to respect Woolim's wish, but only under one condition:
that she must attend university (specifically pursue medical) even if she didn't know what she wanted to do.
With the help of her parents, Woolim moved out of her home and to the city to temporarily pursue a medical career.
Her parents wanted to go with her to help her get a start for herself, but she convinced them to stay back home.
As soon as Woolim arrived in the city, she got an apartment with the money her parents lent her,
and immediately went off to find a job. Temporarily, she works part-time in a flower shop.
Initially, she just wanted to earn money, but while working there, she came to fall in love
with learning how to care for plants, taking an interest in studying botany.
