"you must always be beautiful and poised, you’re our doll after all.

The cold fashion in which his mom had said these words had sent a chill down his spine back then. Minki just gave her a nod, abiding by her every command. He felt like a doll, being moved by its owner's command. It's not like the boy had expected any sense of normalcy here, not in a rich family that strived for perfection in everything. To be honest, Minki just wanted to become that perfection. To be the embodiment of perfection and present himself to his family, and to see them be satisfied for once. How would he ever reach that level? The boy decides he'll just fix individual problems, and it would hopefully perfect him as a whole. He was lost, unsure what to start with. After all, he was the one who saw the most flaws in himself.

Yet, there was one fault that the whole family seemed to agree on- the remaining baby fat on Minki's face. It looked too immature, not close to the beautiful, elegance they wanted the image of the family to be. Minki was eager to show them he could improve, that he could be what they wanted. He wanted it quickly, he wanted the words of praise and happiness to just come already- so he hurried. He skipped the meals the maid would cook for him, always supplying excuses like "I'll eat later", or "I ate when I was outside". He'd be lying to say he wasn't hungry and this wasn't affecting him, but.. his hunger for love and attention was stronger. He did that for a long time, walking around emaciated while feeling faint. Yet, it hadn't affected the way his family thought of him- he hadn't got any major praise, and that made him more dishearted. He wondered if he didn't do enough, and continued on.

It was only when he ended up fainting that he gave up on his family's love- despite his condition, they only scolded him and didn't seem to show any signs of sympathy. He had realized that love from his family was just unattainable. He used up so much of his youth worrying and trying to please others.. he didn't want to do anything like that ever again. When he went to university, he decided to unleash himself and only care about himself from now on, and what he wanted to do. Despite the male giving up on his family's love, he still was infatuated with the idea of love and attention- and if it's what he needs, Minki decides he'll get it without changing himself. It's how he ends up deciding to put his looks to use- to become a model. It's not that hard for him, not with his slender figure and sharp jawline- he gets his first contract easily. He decides that he likes having everyone's cameras pointing at him, and the cycle repeats over and over.

(the rest will come soon, still in the middle of writing it.)

Personality: When Minki decided he'd only care about himself, he really meant it. The boy doesn't care much about other people's feelings, just cares about if something pleases him and if he gets a rush out of it. He's selfish and detached in that way, while also being quite blunt and assertive. He's fearless, quite picky, and a great actor. He can be quite manipulative, making someone think he cares so that he can get what he wants- even if that isn't the truth. When it comes to himself, Minki believes he should strive for the ideal- even if it's risky. Despite that, there is a slight innocence that remains in him- from time to time, he can have genuine fun with just simple things, or to be able to appreciate certain gestures. That doesn't happen too much, though. There is also a small melancholic undertone to him, in which the boy is self-aware of all of the bad in his actions, knows what he does to himself, but doesn't do anything about it, just presumes that there was never anything good here for him to begin with.
