background; Lee Chan was raised in a genuinely happy household, as the youngest child to two caring parents. It was harmonious in their house, the same patterns happening over and over- young Chan would arrive from school and go straight to telling his parents all about his day, and they would smile at his enthusiasm. He liked it that way.. but later on, he became aware that his parents didn't seem to be as happy as they were before. He wanted to do anything to fix it, really- but his older sister would stop him, and say it was no big deal before distracting him by asking him to show her his Michael Jackson dance again, or showing him a new game. Chan ended up forgetting all about it, and the tension between his parents seemed to be relieved after a few days. Their family would always be happy. Whenever anything bad happened, they shielded the young boy- from the outside world's conflicts, and their own. They just wanted to keep his bright innocence intact. While they succeeded, they also created a naive boy who would blindly fall into people's traps and do anything for someone else's happiness- because he was just accustomed to everything being safe, and happy. There were also other cons of raising Chan this way- the boy had a frame of what he thought was right, and when it went outside of that frame.. Someone could be hurt because the boy doesn't know how to control his own feelings properly, other than happiness and positive feelings like it.
