Huang zitao was born to a family consisting of an alpha and an omega in 1994. The alpha was a beta while the omega had the privilege to work as a head provider. He doesn't have siblings and is the first and only son. Since his family was pretty high ranked, Zitao had a pretty easy life and didn't have to deal with things such as bullying or constant teasing. Until he was around 12, he wanted to become a hunter for his pack, but he always aspired to follow his old man's footsteps as an alpha as well. He ended up accepting a training in provision and care. He knows a lot about care, medicine and herbs. His childhood was overall uncomplicated. He has always been loyal to his family, his pack - his parents left the pack when he turned 20 and Zitao took the lead as the previous alpha's son. His whole life he was trimmed to become a leader one day, and that's what he is now.
Of course, though, this is too beautiful to just be this simple. Remember how I mentioned he had an overall uncomplicated life? something about this sounds weird, doesn't it? let's dig a bit deeper to see what he banned from his mind, what he doesn't talk about. things that formed and scarred him.
Pit all leads to when his parents left the pack. his mother had become her alpha's luna, and tao served as a head provider. the cause of his parents leaving was that his mother wanted to move to the city - which they indeed did in the end. he was left by his parents, the full pressure put on his very own shoulders. he was filled with disappointment towards his father - how would he let this happen? he couldn't just leave him like that, his only son with zero experience as a leader. what tao had, was plenty of training, though. he was pretty lucky that he did. tao swore himself to be a better leader. he would always put his pack first, no matter what. and his loved one wouldn't make him change his mind. no, he wouldn't even let a loved one get too close to himself. he's so keen on not breaking it because just before they left, tao looked his own father in the eye and told him he wouldn't be a traitor like him, never.
Persona.
Zitao is a proud alpha. sometimes is ego can seem incredibly high and he might seem pretty vain, but if you know him better, you will see and realize that he actually doesn't think as highly of himself as he does. usually, wolves from other packs were the ones assuming he was arrogant, but actually, tao is quite selfless and caring. he puts himself in dangerous scenarios in order to help others, no matter how small the action seems, as long as he knows he can help, he will make himself responsible.
Likes.
his pack. his pack stands over anything. he likes watching the rain as he thinks, and he enjoys silence as well as being alone sometimes.
Dislikes.
disloyal wolves, stubborn wolves who won't submit once he speaks. his heart is as loud as a lion, so he really can't with people talking back. He hates feeling hot, and he feels uncomfortable when he's being confronted with his mistakes since his only goal in life is to lead the pack well.
Hobbies.
Being a leader, he doesn't have much time for hobbies. Tao likes travelling, or just going outside. He likes to observe others and learn about other people, making connections to every single person he meets - though he doesn't necessarily talk with them. in general, he just likes to watch processes, which makes him enjoy counting birds in spring.
Secrets.
his biggest secret is the reason why he doesn't want to share the alpha position.
Fears.
He is scared of being a bad alpha, of making a mistake that won't be forgivable, scared of becoming a victim to his own lust and his rut, losing control over his well-arranged brain, scared of war and having to make quick decisions, injuries, pain (mental and physical though he bottles everything up and deals with it by himself).

In too deep. tao made a mistake by insisting on trying to get the sore omega in heat to eat with his pack like traditions ordered them too. traditions were important, and that was something not only his mind, but also his heart knew. his rut had just started and he was blivious to the signs, and the alpha was convinced he'd manage to hold back and resist his urges. his worry about the fragile omega was too big as if he could let him alone, and that is when his need overtakes him, causing him to go crazy over the vulnerable, soaking wet, crying omega. pure fear fills the alpha as he knots the omega, not having realized he was in rut. he is honestly scared, and maybe he misses the omega's frame against his and his sweet scent in his nose as he hides in the warmth of his blanket in the locked room of his own, seeking for comfort. chances are high that he impregnated the omega... yet he didn't mark him. nobody would have to know as long as he found a way to keep the other's mouth shut, wouldn't that work?
